Week 2

Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

O-oh, when you said that there would be a suite probation, I feared that I would be locked in my room again.

[He nods, looking away from Nandor.]

I am afraid it's rather personal.

[ oh thank god, time to immediately move on!! ]

Well, I am not ruling it out if you try this shit a third time... but no. [ He says this without looking at Jonathan, which makes it easier: ] A lot of people would be quite sad if you were to stop occurring, Jonathan Harker — probably not the Undertaker or Seo Dawon, but many regardless. You must protect your soft little life for them.

[He sighs, defeated.]

I suppose this experiment has proved fruitless. I promise to take care of myself from now on.

[Watch as he does another stupid thing in a couple of days.]

[Nodding!]

And if that’s not enough, I promise to take care of him, too.

Likewise, I will protect Obi as well!

[Sure Jonathan is much weaker than Obi but his heart is in the right place.]

Oi! [ The Undertaker is right here, dude! ] I'd have you know, I'd also hate to see someone like Harker "stop occuring," as you put it!

[ He straight-up yelps as he whirls around! ]

Oh. I've been here for a while now. Figured I may as well start sectioning off burial plots now that our mayor's getting everyone all worked up.

[ Did you not hear him laughing at Johnny and Obi getting dunked? ]

[ This is a very reasonable question, but also it assumes Nandor has ever paid attention to anyone or anything in his (un)life! And as such the answer is no. ]

Okay, you see, this shit is why I said you might not care if Jonathan is unoccurred.

Now, now! Just because I like my job doesn't nessicarily mean I look forward to burying people I get along with.
