some moments last forever, and some flare out with love, love, love [afterparty]
[So that all sucked really bad, huh.
Forrest had meant what he said about going to the clinic immediately after all of this, getting medical supplies ready and set up on hand to prepare to receive people - Dandy is the primary candidate for this, whether he likes it or not - but before he goes he grabs Rossiu for the briefest moment before sending him on his way. Sure enough, when the note comes in a few minutes it isn't in Forrest's flowing, delicate hand but rather something blockier and incredibly neat. If you've seen Rossiu's handwriting, you'll recognize it: ]
We're having a memorial gathering in the ice cream parlor in an hour. Feel free to attend if you'd like, or if you would prefer to not be alone.
[...It seems like as good a place as any.
There are some things set up, though not terribly many; the tables are set out and are perhaps a bit closer than they normally would be, but go ahead and make yourself some sundaes, pull up a chair, talk to one another, ruminate over whether Jason and Hagakure would have liked this (or whether Vholran wouldn't have, either way) - it's your night, to do what you want with.]

But, that hasn't stopped others from making the implication. Not that I don't see their point, but...
[ He trails off rather than finish that sentence. His Pride, you see. ]

[ Nandor is blissfully unaware of this fact, since he never interrogates his own thoughts or feelings, but any dislike he harbors towards the mage is because he remains uncompromised and knows where he stands. He cannot say the same of himself. ]
And I was thinking, "maybe he will have some thoughts on who would do it." Because the time where they can act... coming to a close real soon.

...hold that thought. [ He turns off the active burners he has, because food can wait, heading into his room to retrieve a notebook. The writing is less writing and more wiggly runic lines, some method of code rather than a proper language. ]
Alright. Eliminating all of the dead, the culprit is likely someone who trusts more in using a tool than a weapon. They might be unfamiliar with poison, but it's also possible that Oliver has some biological traits that give him some degree of protection from poison.
Casting a wide net, the suspects are: Brett, Forrest, Hild, Jonathan, Joy, Asahina, Mielle, and the Undertaker. I've eliminated myself, you, Aiba, Floyd, Gaius, Misfire, Dandy, and Zinda on the grounds that their method of killing is unlikely to be poison, or they don't have the disposition to carry out a kill in such a manner. This leaves Rossiu unaccounted for, mostly on the account that he's kept a relatively low profile while being pragmatic. If I had to place him I would exclude him, but he's harder to get a read on.

It is true, he is a bit of a closed book... fair enough, really, but not helpful at this juncture.
I am also wondering about what it means that they were monkeying around in the clinic.

I'm not sure it means much. One possibility is that they weren't familiar with a clinic, another is that they were and were trying to find something that isn't available here. Or they were trying to make it seem like they didn't know what they were doing. Anyone can make a mess.
...there's a saying that poison is a woman's weapon, but I usually view beliefs like that as Old Wives tales.
[ Still, it's worth saying considering what they're working with. ]

I have heard this as well, of course. It is not accurate, since poison is a weakling's weapon... and quite unfair to women, now that I am thinking about it. In those days, there were not as many opportunities for women to learn any other weapons, so the options were limited...
[ His mind goes to the combination of weakness, femininity, and the old days, and he decides this is the moment to shut the fuck up. ]

One of my guild officers is female. If I discounted women on the basis of their gender, I'd find a holy lance targeted at my body even as far away as I am now.
[ Kim Olim does not play and he has a lot of respect for her. ]
I'm not sure what conclusions we can draw currently. We can establish a profile, but without more evidence it's difficult to really narrow things down. If they move again, they'll be much more to work with.
[ Seo Dawon from the future: it's up to you now! ]
