Emotions are clearly high, so for once, Data steps out of his helper role and takes on the brunt of organizing the after-trial gathering. He's seen enough of them by now to know what's what. He's also seen more than enough in this particular trial to decide that the bar, while possibly being the most logical location, may be distressing to some! So instead, we're gonna do something different. Data will deliver invitations, that sort of look like a computer printed them, to each of the rooms:]

There are no decorations, but there are some snack selections from the buffet and the cafe, depending on what you want, and a tray or two of mixed drinks courtesy of Jimmy Buffett. I can't believe I'm stooping to this. Just curious. And I sincerely doubt she had it on her when she died, so either it's in her room or on the ocean floor. Actually, any of the dead's might work.

[ Sometimes your niece manages to super saiyan overpower the magic thief who was about to kill you both through the power of her friends actually caring about her?? It's disgusting and she refuses to acknowledge it under normal circumstances! But these are desperate, desperate times. ]

Hypothetically, future endeavors of a mystical nature might require certain totems of powerful, potentially nauseating sentiment. There is some validity to the whole friendship, togetherness, warm and fuzzy feelings thing as a channeling mechanism for magic. And nothing ties that all together quite like a handmade, personalized object made with contemplation of the recipient's true nature.

Of course, I don't think you can call back a spirit with the concentrated essence of awkward obligation... but hatred works.
