FIFTH INVESTIGATION

Friday morning dawns like any other. There's no sharp indicator whether or not you've all managed to avoid this motive - nothing missing returned, or anything like that. You still have the photos of the Ideal Futures that Jack gave you. The hallway outside your rooms is again clear of bodies. The air is still, the ship quiet.

Still, you can't help the feeling that, well... why would this Friday be any different? You've been in this cycle for over a month now, after all. But... only one way to find out!

[ On your way down, visible from the stairs... looks like something happened in the Floor 2-A Lounge. ]

[Oh, it was to be expected. Filbo sighs, swallows and gets ready to go into the lounge. Someone has to find out, and he's...right here, so...

[ A lot of the specifics of what's going on here are for later, but there is someone in here sitting down.

[He's so afraid of approaching and facing one and for all the blunt reality that's death on this ship, having only seen bodies at a distance, but...he can't go backing down now, can he? Filbo approaches, hoping that despite how bad things already look given this is a person in an odd position on Friday morning, that it's not a corpse.

It's a strange sort of contrast, seeing this body while the speakers continue to pump out the hits undeterred, but it's very clear from looking at him that this is no longer a living person. At least he has all his organs?

And hey, this guy in particular might find some actual upsides to deadland.

[For a moment Filbo can only stare. Yup, that's the very purple guy he knew around here. It couldn't be that Decus had been killed, not...]

[Freyja usually freezes up when she sees the bodies, and this is no exception; Filbo's words bring her back around a little, though, and while she still seems rather pale and can't quite look away from Decus' body, she manages to say something, at least.]

[Well goshdarn. Since that's a body and Filbo shouldn't investigate bodies because seriously, he doesn't have the stomach for it, he instead decides to investigate surrounding areas.

Like the teen zone. He's real familiar with the teenzone, he should be able to do something over there]
