Because everything on this ship is awful, I think a drink is needed. Come get some at the bar, it'll do you some good as long as you don't drink too much

[Indeed, if you come to the bar you'll find there's one of everything. Filbo seems to have asked literally every drink he knows or has at least heard about, and lined them up from the most mellow to the strongest. There's one of each, so it's limited, take yours before it's gone! Or...ask Jimmy Buffett for more, he's right there.

Should he be encouraging drinking? He's not completely certain, but he had to do something! And this is as good as anything -- not festive because this is no time to be festive, but also social enough to encourage coming.

[Zaveid doesn't show up right away. He actually first goes to Freyja's room, finds her letter, and... deals with that. He says a prayer in private, but a god just died in front of all of them...

It's a while before he re-emerges to join the rest of the group, but when he does there's a gun at in the holster of his pants. Considering he's doing nothing to hide it, it appears it's not meant to be a threat of any kind.

He can be found at the buffet for a while, drinking. No eating this time, just a lot of alcohol, like last week. The Captain and his damn games...]

How many more weeks are we going to go through this crap before he gets bored and offs all of us at once?

[And as they learned with Chloe, he seems to consider himself off-limits when it comes to killing.

...I don't know. But I'm planning on outlasting him as long as I can. Maybe we win, and maybe we don't--that's kind of a new perspective for me to take, actually. But even if we lose, we can hardly just take defeat as a foregone conclusion now.

We have to stop him, though. If we don't he might turn around and do this all over again to some other group of people. He doesn't strike me as the sort who is going to stop this.

I have every intention of winning this, don't misunderstand me. But if the worst happens, I also plan to make Jack work for his victory and burn down everything I can on the way out.

I meant what I said last week. If and when we call checkmate on this, I'm going to kill him myself. Speaking of which, I need to get my gun back from Magica.

He might be able to strike back at us, though... given what happened to Chloe.

[If they could somehow be aware of a time he isn't in there, to look for his... whatever the hell that way.]

I can't imagine he'd take kindly to being barricaded.

If he knew it was us. Though, admittedly, it might be obvious.

We need to distract him somehow.

If we could just find out where he's hiding Jones' heart...

[Returning it would immediately put the odds in their favor. Jones might not be an ally under normal circumstances, but...]

That's the question. If he was smart, I'd say he likely hid it off the ship but as it is... perhaps a vault or safe?

Before we knew he was on the ship, I'd have agreed, but now I'm thinking he's the sort to keep it close, to flaunt it at Jones whenever he can.

[This sounds more like he's talking from experience than anything else.]

Honestly, I kinda expect him to be the sort of person to keep it on display somewhere.

Mm, you're right. That's not saying it couldn't be in a locked container in his office but he's likely to have it on display.

[Ugh.]

From what I heard of him he seems like a bit of a trophy hunter. If we find a room filled with oddities, I'd say that's where it is.

I guess we need to keep our eyes open for it.

I doubt it'd be out in the open, but it's probably close by.
