[Indeed, if you come to the bar you'll find there's one of everything. Filbo seems to have asked literally every drink he knows or has at least heard about, and lined them up from the most mellow to the strongest. There's one of each, so it's limited, take yours before it's gone! Or...ask Jimmy Buffett for more, he's right there.

Should he be encouraging drinking? He's not completely certain, but he had to do something! And this is as good as anything -- not festive because this is no time to be festive, but also social enough to encourage coming.

Constantine makes a disgusted expression, sticking his tongue out.]

I do think he's sufficiently defended in case anyone tries to make a move against him. A full-on attack will do nothing to help us.

Agreed, though. We may have access to him now, but even if we all were to rush him at once, I can't imagine that would end well for us. He's only opened his office up to us because he's prepared for that possibility now. So as always, we'll need to proceed with caution and try very hard to find a way to solve our problems that doesn't involve violence.

[Constantine pauses slightly, rubbing his chin.]

I'm curious--if you had one chance to get at Jack, what would you do?

[You know, as a last ditch effort kind of thing. How creative would you get, Yeager?]

[Hmm... He considers that for a moment, inclining his head in thought.]

I suppose it depends on the circumstances. Regardless, he's going to expect for me to rush him; I am ultimately a fairly straight-forward fighter, after all. My largest advantage in a fight is how unpredictable I can be because of my weapon, but that isn't a possibility here, given that my weapon isn't functioning properly. So assuming his information on all of us is as thorough as it seems to be, he'll know that I rely on unpredictability and my strength above all else.

[Expect the unexpected... and also expect a massive scythe to the face, in other words.]

He'll want to keep me at a distance, then; that would be safest. If I were to kill someone here and I were to be executed... well, I doubt he'd be willing to be on the deck where I could get at him without one of those dolls.

[He's mostly just thinking aloud at this point, but that gets him to pause and incline his head a bit.]

If I had one shot at him, I wouldn't want to go alone. I'd want someone else with me - make him think that I'm the only one who would attack him in that moment, and draw his attention - he may be able to stop one of us with a doll like that, but he may not have a second one.

[Of course, all of this is quiet, just in case the Captain's feeling like listening in on us today.]

[Lotta whispers happening at this bar today...but, that's just the result of things coming to a head, huh? Constantine leans forward, listening closely to what Yeager tells him.]

Got a proper battle plan in mind, then.

[He pauses ever so slightly to think.]

The man is only one person--a powerful, dangerous one at that, but he's the only one standing between us and the end of this bloody game. If we just get a good idea of his defenses, what tricks he has up his sleeve...well, then we'll be sorted.

[He grimaces.]

Of course, all of this would be a hell of a lot easier with Jones on our side. I don't think we should be doin' anything while he still has power over him.

Agreed. The ideal plan of attack would involve the remainder guarding Mr. Jones' heart to ensure that he cannot be turned against us. I don't believe there's any point in acting right now - we don't know the extent of Mr. Jones' powers, and we've already seen that he can move quite quickly. To attack now would put us in a bad position if we assume wrong; we'd lose two of our capable fighters.

[If not more. It depends on how charitable the Captain's feeling, or exactly what his goal is and how many he needs alive, perhaps.]

Anyway, it's something to keep in mind, but hardly a proper plan just yet.

Obviously not. But if things get ugly--and given what we know, that's more than likely--it's good to have some sort of idea of what to do.

[Which, in this case, is to probably just go ham at Jack and see what happens. Fucking around and finding out.]

I'm hardly a fighter. At most, I'd just kick him in the balls and get out of the way for the people who know how to use swords. [A pause.] I do have a gun, but I have a funny feeling he's prepared in case he has an assassination attempt, what with being a CEO and all.

Given that he felt the need to set all this up in the first place, I'd assume he'd be prepared for just about anything. Presumably he's been keeping an eye on what we get out of that machine as well, since it seems he has no control over it. But with that said, it is possible he's overlooked that and won't expect a gun.

[The Captain's probably not as stupid as we like to assume... but is he really going to be prepared for a GUN???]

Frankly, a lot of things would be solved if we shot more CEOs in the face. But I think that'd be too kind of an end for Jack.

[The man's been a punk his whole life. What can he say?]

Oh, certainly. He deserves far worse. But really, as long as he lies dead at the end of all of this, I don't particularly care what does him in.
