[Well today was quite the unusual way. Filbo pretty much went into his room and collapsed on his bed and just fainted because hey, everything that happened? It's overwhelming. Bluuuuuuuh.

A few hours later, once he recovered somewhat, Filbo just goes and gets paper. This is a ridiculous situation, but...hey, no matter what, stuff needs to be done]

I know today was a really weird day, but let's try to gather and see what happens. There will be ice cream at the ice cream parlor in half an hour. With everything that happened we really should try to at least not forget we need to stick together for whatever reason.

Well, he goes and does exactly what he said: this time it isn't booze, it's all kinds of ice cream available for anyone who comes. The tables all have spoons and water because really, this is going to be a whole lot of sugar for everyone. Better this than alcohol, especially since things clearly have gone off the rails one way or another, so may as well gorge yourself with ice cream and try to gather your wits for whatever the next week can bring]

The irony had certainly not escaped me. We'll have to tread even more carefully now.

...Do you think investigating Jack's office is out of the question? Our...new Captain might decide he would rather have it for himself, I assume. Which is awful. I was so looking forward to finding some answers.

I certainly wouldn't, at the moment. At the very least we should let things settle and see where the status quo chooses to land.

[This new ghost guy can do a lot more than kill them with dolls, after all.]

...But...perhaps tomorrow. We should at least check on Mister Davy Jones, should we not?

...I suppose we do owe him that much.

He might be our greatest line of defense against this new person.

Except for the part where he's likely just as under this thing's control as we assumed him to be under Jack's.

...Still, it is a start. And it makes him just as captive as the rest of us, so we would be foolish not to count him as a potential ally.

When we were fleeing, he said...he was bound to stop anything that interferes with the "ritual", did he not? And that the new Captain had to wait for the deaths, and not cause them himself.

[So it's not, like, the best defense, but at least they're not slated for a TPK right away if Jones has anything to say about it.]

....I suppose that's almost reassuring, as much as anything in this situation can be.

[She's not super useful but sometimes Flayn will remember a thing and it could be a good thing.]
