Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

I can certainly sympathize with that. It feels like it's been a very long time since I last had a moment to myself.

Agreed. I've been exceptionally busy as of late, so it's odd to have this much time to myself.

I suppose I should be glad of the free time, but I do find myself wishing there was more to keep us occupied.

I agree. I would like to read up a bit on… wherever it is we are, though I imagine that would be counter to our captors’ intentions.

Yes, I assume that's why we don't have access to one; it would be rather difficult to ensure that there's nothing useful for us in there.

[Not that he'd rule it out entirely, Fontaine certainly seems to have plenty of time and money so it'd probably be possible, but the risks aren't really worth it.]

As little as I like the idea, I do believe it would make more sense to limit us to these areas and to not allow us to explore any further. But I do hope I'm wrong.

It would, thinking about it, perhaps encourage creativity. They did include the provision that if anyone kills, they are intended to get away with it and that we are intended to expose them for what they have done.

I must admit, I am curious about that. I sincerely hope it doesn't happen and we can find a way to avoid murder... but given the wording of it, it would seem that there's far more to it.

I suppose it will be difficult to truly prepare, given that we are absolutely at a disadvantage here. But we must do our best.
