Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

[ He does take a look at how Misfire is positioned, and that looks kind of amusing! He'll also lean upside down on the floor and pillar opposite of Misfire. Whoever walks in next is gonna get real confused. ]

I miss basketball. The gym doesn't have a court for me to run around in. Jade would probably find something amusing to do right about now, too.

Ah, running. I miss running. Running was good.

[He says it like a war widow grieving her long lost husband. Heavy sigh.]

Even when we were stuck on the WAP we had ‘shoot shoot bang bang’, and the Internet. And if that wasn’t enough, sometimes Grimsy would go on a rampage. I mean - not fun, but it was something.

[Another sigh.]

I guess we could…still…run around. [Is an idea formulating? He seems to perk up, just a bit.] Was there a rule on that?

[ Floyd closes his eyes and thinks for a second, and as if he were reading it right from the list, he states: ]

"Rule 4. Prospective citizens can explore and do whatever they like in the space they're permitted in. Go nuts."

[ Floyd looks back at Misfire, a brow raised, intrigued. ]

[Misfire looks close to serious for a moment.]

How familiar are you with the universal cultural staple that is the game ‘tag’?

[ A small smile slowly begins to play on his features. ]

Preeeetty familiar~. We've got like a school-wide tag game back where I'm from.

[dullshooter]

[Misfire mirror's that dawning grin.]

Then, you're picking up what I'm putting down?

[ Floyd grins, and then... ]

[ He flips around right-side up with the grace of an eel before standing, quickly running over to Misfire, and tapping him on the nose. ]

You're it!

[ And then he proceeds to take off down the hall! ]

[dullshooter]

[Damn, that eel is slippery! It takes Misfire a moment to even register being booped on the nose, and by the time he's up Floyd's already wriggled away!]

Damn-!

[There he goes! Still some way behind but - where's Floyd heading?]

Hahaaaa~!

[ His laugh echoes off the walls as he takes off. This slippery eel is headed for the lobby! ]

[dullshooter]

Get back here, fish boy!

[Misfire follows him into the lobby, picking up the pace a bit, finally.

Oh god, he’s gonna turn at some point isn’t he? Time to place bets on turning.]

Gonna have to be faster than that, Flying Fish~!

[ You'd think he'd turn, but he's staying in the Lobby for a bit as he vaults over various chairs and tables! Parkour, babey!!! Never let them know your next move! ]

[That does make Misfire slow down, if not outright pause.]

Is that a nickname...? Are you using nicknames to throw me off?

Yeah, that's your nickname now. Everyone gets a nickname~!

[ He says this while perched on a small table like some sort of gargoyle. ]

And here you had me thinking I was special.

[He kids, but he does slow down a little bit in the chase. Conversation is afoot.]

Hehe. Still deciding on a lot of 'em- 24 peoples a lot to pick for, y'know? And I'm trying not to duplicate too much.

[ He's got like 26 other people with fish nicknames at school! Naturally he had more than a week or so to figure them out, so picking names and not duplicating most is quite the challenge. ]

Hmmm... The guy with blue and yellow hair? [ Adaman, basically- ] He's Blue Tang!

Blue Tang. Hah. I have no idea what that’s referencing.

[Man needs a crash course in marine biology.]
