Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

I've found this to be a good place to pray, honestly. It's about as peaceful as anything here is going to be.

I'm not the praying type, but... yeah. I could see that. Honestly kind of shocked we get access to somewhere this nice.

It helps that we have proof of gods existing, where I'm from. Apparently many people don't.

This whole place is surprisingly decent, if ugly. It's not what I would expect for the situation.

We have a lot of things, but... no gods running around, as far as I've ever heard.

If there's going to be so little else to do, I guess a nice garden is the least they give us.

I've been abducted before. This is much better than anything I had back then, but I don't think it was supposed to be long-term in that case.

...Might I ask what your world is like, if you wouldn't mind? Aside from godless.

Well, until recently I thought it was pretty normal. This place is about the peak of where we were at... eighty years ago, technology-wise? But apart from that... a lot of humans separated into a bunch of countries trying to live their lives. You'd like the fashion, probably.

Of course, that's when we're not being invaded by giant monsters from outer space. Though that hasn't been a problem for a while.

I... Well, I'm not sure that I would call invasions from space normal - did that happen to your world frequently?

When I was... sixteen or so, an alien named Rita Repulsa came to Earth. She created giant monsters that used to get sent all around the world.

[ In a way, he's also a monster that she created! ]

The only reason anyone stood a chance was the Power Rangers.

I'm sorry, I'm not really familiar with the concept... But they sound like heroes of some sort, is that it?

Basically. And they were good at their jobs, until the aliens got stronger. That's where Lord Drakkon came in. The other rangers were great, but... he saved the world.
