Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

I put them in the garden because it's hardly their fault that they're disgusting. I just find it concerning that they're in the machine like that. They're in a cup?

[Which is probably the dumbest thing to say in response to this horrible vending machine but like, here we are anyway.]

It was good of you to return them to the garden. I do hope there aren't any more in there, though.

Likewise... I would really prefer that they not get hurt in there.

[Both because they're living things and because god knows we'll have to deal with the aftermath if they get squished in there.]

[He reaches into his pocket and pulls out what is most definitely a stun gun of some sort; he clicks it and gets the electricity to spark up for a moment between the prongs at the end, though he shuts it off incredibly quickly once it does that.]

This seems dangerous?

It is, yes, though it is usually used for stunning someone.

I wonder just how many other weapons are in here...

I'm also a little concerned with what we should do with them. I'm not sure I want to keep this...

That's understandable. Considering the current situation, I'm not sure we have any good options.

[Handing them off to someone who will keep a close eye on them but not use them would be the ideal, but there's absolutely no way any of us can be trusted with that given the rules.]

Do you know how to take it apart? If not, perhaps I can ask Aiba, she seems to know a good amount...

[He just really doesn't want to be the one that gets fried trying to take apart a sparking thing with no help or instructions.]

While I likely could figure it out, I don't have any experience with anything quite like this. Aiba likely would know more than I do.

[Yeah, sounds like a good way to get tased.]
