Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

The name I use when I'm keeping my identity under wraps is Nanaki. For entering martial arts contests and such, you know? It's cooler that way.

Of course you enter secret martial arts contests under a fake name.

[He sounds mildly annoyed at how on brand it somehow feels.]

Electricity is like...you know lightning, don't you? Thunder? The big kra-KOOM? Kinda like that, but smaller. Used for technology and all that.

Uh, yeah. If I was struck by lightning, I'd be fried like an egg.

Nope, no way, not until I find some way to test if that electry stuff is up there. I've seen what lightning does to trees!

[The closer he gets back to the ground, the more daring he gets, until he's just leaping down from toehold to toehold.]

[Obi drops the final story, straightens, and dusts himself off.]

[Even though there’s literally nothing he could want out of Obi’s coats, it’s still a struggle to hand it back.]
