Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.

Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.

And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!

No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

[ That's interesting. Vholran has considered it quite possible that an encounter may happen, but definitely sooner than he thought.

He will, of course, enter into the area regardless. He has no intentions of turning tail or even alerting anyone because he can handle it just fine, clearly.

If he checks around the general area and rows of bookshelves (which he will take a cursory glance at), is he able to catch the sight of who so happens to be walking around here besides him? ]

[ No visual just yet, unfortunately, but he does get a little more awareness of this other person's actions than he might otherwise. The pace of the footsteps changes as the person, it seems, realizes someone else is in here, and drops a book somewhere in the shelves as they change direction of where they were walking. ]

[ Well, that only makes sense. He's not silent as death, after all.

As Vholran moves along the room, checking through the rows and room for the other person, presumably the book that's been dropped will stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest that are naturally settled there? ]

[ It is! Especially since, after a little bit of checking, the lights turn on, revealing a decent-sized library!

... And the tail end, for just a second, of whoever was in here with you. Or whatever was in here with you, as they seem to have crawled straight up a wall and fled into an air vent. ]

Coward.

[ But, Vholran isn't in the mood to lower himself to crawling up vents just to pursue the potential whatever the other presence was.

First, he will check out the library more thoroughly, particularly the book that has been left behind. Is there anything notable about it and the books around here? ]

[ There'll be some more about the library when the locations page gets updated, but there's a pretty wide variety of books available! This one in particular seems to be an atlas. ]
