Week 1
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
There may not be much light to differentiate the days here, but the lights of the part of the city you're in change enough by the clock that you can almost believe there's a sun somewhere. It looks like Mayor Fontaine has no intention of going back on his deal, and for the time being? You're all stuck here. But there's plenty to do, and... maybe not plenty to see, but there's enough. There's something, at any rate.
Especially if you're willing to look beyond the surface.
And if you spend enough time around others, you might find something neat!
No matter what, it's time to start getting to know your fellow captives. You might be here a while.

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
FRIDAY | SATURDAY

Nevertheless, Adaman listens very intently as Rossiu talks about Simon; every bit of it sees Adaman's eyes practically gleam from the tale of the city's first leader. He sounds like the sort of man, the sort of hero Adaman would have wanted to grow up to be like, and--]
What an incredible man indeed! Strong, capable, and willing to take life itself by the horns and guide it in the direction he sees fit! Truly, he sounds like an admirable man, and I am glad that he has managed to overcome any difficulties that life has thrown his way.
I can only imagine that with him at the wheel, the threat against your world stands no chance!
[Adaman sounds so!! Pumped!!]
It sounds like the two or you are quite close--for him to entrust you with such a position like that, you two must have been inseparable as Mai and I!
no subject
I wouldn't say we are that close. We have known each other for awhile, but... we were mostly colleagues.
[He tends to use "friends" to describe all of them, but that... doesn't exactly feel accurate in this case, given. Well. Everything he did to Simon.]
I believe he entrusted me with it because he likewise knew there weren't many who could or would step up in such a situation. It was more a matter of necessity than trust.

But! Adaman places a hand on his hip, and with his free hand, he just kind of claps Rossiu on the shoulder a bit in a friendly manner.]
Come now, Rossiu, you needn't be so modest! Even if you were colleagues, it takes a certain level of trust to put the fate of people in your hands like that, no?
You shouldn't disparage yourself so, by downplaying such a thing!
no subject
...Yes, I suppose you're right.
[While he certainly does feel extremely guilty about what happened... there isn't any point in denying that much. If Simon truly thought he wasn't up to the task, he wouldn't have left it in Rossiu's hands. So there's some level of trust there, no matter how undeserved.]
My apologies. I've never been very good at accepting praise.
[Though that isn't exactly the problem here... But that's not something he's going to talk about!!! No one should have to deal with all that bullshit.]
