[That... that was a thing for everyone. There should be no celebration for Lif but, well, even if Rhea has a very cynical view of such things it's probably for the best that everyone stays together. Her first stop is the cafeteria, after all nothing better to keep people in one spot than free food. There she bumps into Mira, leaving the snacks to her Rhea ends up writing notes to everyone to come to the cafeteria in a few hours.

Some she hands personally and if she can't find someone she slid it under their door. Rin's she slides into her room regardless.

Yeah, we really aren't...closest I've come to investigating has been chasing after someone I found at the scene of the crime.

I once solved a murder all by myself, but that was because it wasn't that complicated. And also because the killer wasn't someone I knew, so I didn't have to suspect a friend.

And I'm guessing you didn't have to personally watch the execution, if that was the culprit's final fate.

[Mostly because Shelley was dead when that guy almost died. Witnessing such things is hard when you were murdered too.

Justice doesn't usually end in execution, anyway. Unless you get really unlucky with the judge.

Yeah. And even then there are supposed to be checks and balances against a judge's power. Besides, execution isn't supposed to be immediate no matter what. [There's always supposed to be that chance to seek out the truth, to change things before an irreversible act is performed.]

The Professor is the worst kind of judge. How dares he twist justice like he does?!

I know, right? And he probably wants to make us feel complicit by leaving the investigating and voting up to us.

I bet he would screw up if he was in our shoes.

[Nira lets out a short "ha!"] Probably why he just leaves surveillance cameras everywhere so he doesn't need to try.

He can't even keep an eye on us by himself, he must be doing it through Angel, I'm sure.

[Angel is a sweetheart, but she's undeniably the link between them and the Professor]

Why just her? Maybe he has a whole team of people monitoring those cameras-ugh. [She shudders a little.] Freaked myself out a little thinking about that.
