Understandable if you're not up to it, but we're having a memorial and "don't wanna be alone" hang-out in the restaurant again.

[The restaurant has very much been decorated with the most rainbow fabric she could find in the department store. Jonathan got roped in, mainly so she could make sure he was doing okay, but also because she assumed that he knew how to put a tablecloth on a table. He seemed like the type, anyway.

After consulting with Undertaker, most of the food that's been set out is more traditional Chinese funeral food than Victorian—you can get a whole roast duck in the restaurant—but she tried for a mix of things. There is fruit, the aforementioned roast duck, and several vegetarian dishes along with potatoes for some reason and... cookies? Okay then.

Joy's trying, because that was way less terrible for her than it was for basically anyone else.

Oh. So once a year all the queer as hell humans like me—you know, guys who date guys and gals who date gals and everyone else who's not super "normal"—get together and celebrate that we're queer and still here. We call it "pride month."

[Uh. Do... do alien robots have a concept of the seven deadly sins? Okay, well. She can explain that one too.]

But the thing is that, like, people don't really like those that are different. So someone suggested that we were already doing one of the deadly sins, pride, we should do all seven of them. We'd do sloth month and lust month and greed month and gluttony month and envy month—and then my favorite: wrath month.

Oh! Cool. Not the whole part about being outcasted - but wrath? Wrath is good. Personally, though, I'd be most partial to greed month. Then gluttony and sloth. Those are my official rankings.

Being of a species that's made up of a majority of 'he's that couple up and get down with other 'he's, I'd like to hope my participatory wrath acts as a show of solidarity.
