I figured out earlier how to not just hit everyone and everything with it, at least... The period immediately after the injection was a bit alarming. Turning it on and off as I like is still taking a bit of work...
[Through some handwaved stuff with Aiba, he has sorted out how not to just fry you immediately! That said, it's not particularly intuitive, because he overthinks everything and would be just the worst Bioshock protagonist.]
Hitting things with it at will is easier for me; it feels strange not having a tome to hold, but I'm used to directing magic in one way or another.
