Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

Rossiu is indeed feeding our leafy boy breakfast and he just looks between Dandy's room and Hagakure with an unreadable expression and then, in a complete deadpan:]

Congratulations.

[Why does the sense of humor emerge now, of all times??? Hagakure can't even point it out dramatically like this because he's too busy being mortified!!]

I-It's not like, Ross. I just had a bit too much to drink and passed out.

[At least, that's what he remembers.]

[He continues the deadpan stare for a moment longer before releasing an exhale that sounds dangerously close to a laugh as he returns his attention to Leafeon.]

Yes, I'm not surprised to hear that. Yesterday was very difficult, after all.

[And better for it to be in the room of a fellow dumbass who will drink too much and pass out than on your own, or something?? He doesn't know, he doesn't drink.]

Hagakure finds something to lean against for stability, running a hand through his (more than usual) disheveled hair.]

Yeah... Yeah, it was. I was...kinda reluctant to head back to my suite, if I'm honest.

[He wonders if it was that way for Rossiu last week, having to return to not one, but two empty rooms.]

[Obi was in that suite, wasn't he...?]

I understand. It's... a little too quiet afterwards.

[Only a little despite missing two people, because Dandy more than makes up for it most of the time.]

[God, hopefully no one heard Dandy and Hagakure's stupid nonsense last night.

Hagakure smiles a little to himself. Rossiu can catch it if he happens to look that way again.]

Y'know...it honestly did. It's real nice, havin' friends to talk to after something hard goes down. Like when we talked last week.

Anyway, that does get him to glance back over and he smiles as well. Friends, huh...?]

Yes. It helped tremendously. I've never found it easy to discuss this sort of thing [y'know, feelings.] but it does help.

Yeah, I don't think there's really an easy way to do it. You just kinda...get it out there, and then you feel better. But I'm really glad it helped you too!

[Which reminds him...]

Speakin' of, I didn't manage to catch you last night. How're you doing?

[He nods at that before considering the question.]

I believe I'm doing better than many of the others. I didn't really... know either of them very well.

[Which makes it easier. Hagakure likely understands that.]

It's always going to be difficult, of course, but I'm doing well enough to keep moving forward. Thank you for checking in on me.

[He sure does, unfortunately. It's a weird tightrope to walk- trying not to feel bad that you're not as affected by some deaths over others, but giving everyone the proper time to mourn and move forward.]

Hey, no worries. Now's a good time to do it as any, right? [Since he happened to be here, ahaha...] Sorry you had to metaphorically carry us in that trial and probably after it, but it's good to know that there's someone strong enough to do it each week. Not everyone can bring their A-game every time, y'know?

[For as many people as he can. Sometimes his best efforts are really bad, but that won't stop him from trying.]

Though I wouldn't say I carried anyone during that trial; I'm just pleased that everyone decided to listen.
