Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[It's still dark in the living area, with just the lights of the rest of New Rapture filtering in. But Hagakure's figure can be seen on the couch, eating something out of a bowl.

When he hears a door opening, he lifts his head up to look...]

Oh, hey Undy. I didn't wake you up, did I?

[giddyundertaker]

[ If Hagakure is paying attention, he might spot a very faint green glow poking out from under the Undertaker's scruffy bangs... Where one of his eyes should be... ]

Oh, you're fine, just... Hold on...

[ He slips back into his room and shuts the door.

There's the quiet clattering of small objects being moved around on a desk...

He reemerges from his room wearing a red bathrobe over his sleepwear, with his bangs properly brushed out, and goes to sit next to Hagakure on the couch. ]

What've you got there? [ He is poised to steal some of your snacks. ]

[That's...ominous... Though it's Undertaker, ominous is the name of the game. Still, though... Hm. He'll definitely file that away for the time being...

When Undertaker comes to join Hagakure, he will find...rice! There's also some takoyaki that Hagakure stole from the fridge, sorry to whoever made that! (Floyd, probably.)

He'll offer one!]

Takoyaki. Want some?

[He wonders if the Victorian man has even had a lot of Japanese food.]

[giddyundertaker]

[ Huh. Victorian man has not heard of takoyaki before, but he's curious enough to try. ]

Don't mind if I do... [ Just gonna take the takoyaki and stick it in his mouth. Om, nom nom... ]

Mn. Seafood. [ He continues eating it, glancing over at Hagakure now that he's close enough to make out the details of his appearance. ]

Yep! Octopus, specifically. It's a super popular street food in Japan. You can find it at stalls all over the place.

[He pops another into his mouth, not yet noticing how closely Undertaker is observing him. It's a little obscured due to the lighting, but if Undertaker is leaning in close enough he can see a little bruising on Hagakure's neck.]

[ Nod, nod. It's honestly not too bad!

Now, ah. That sure is bruising on Hagakure's neck there. ]

... Now where did that come from...? [ He's gonna poke the bruise. ]

Ow!

[He instinctively swats Undertaker's hand away and goes to rub at it...]

I dunno... I didn't even know it was there 'til you went and poked it. [That last bit is emphasized with a huff of frustration.] Guess I bumped somethin' when I passed out last night.

[giddyundertaker]

[ Rude! He's gonna steal another takoyaki from your bowl for that. Nom. ]

And it hit you in the neck? [ Gulp. ] What on Earth were you up to last night?

[His neck...?

Oh. OH. It's starting to come back to him, causing his face to flush. But he bites back that mild noise of embarrassment to deny, deny, deny.]

Yeah? I was drunk, sue me! [...] Actually, don't. But I dunno, man! I like to keep my room dark at night! I coulda ran into any number of things!

[giddyundertaker]

Are you suuuure?

[ Griiiin. ] Are you really that clumsy? Or perhaps your night was more interesting than you recall...?

Dude, have you ever been drunk off your ass? You're gonna be clumsy!!

[And he's clumsy while sober so it's just. Truly a disaster.]

Th-This ain't any of your business anyway!

[ And now he's leaning in a bit with the biggest grin on his face. ]

Why didn't you say anything before~? That explains everything~ Hee hee hee...

[ Gonna try to steal a third takoyaki. Just to be a weirdo. ]
