Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[ Aw maaan. But also valid, because he'd totally try to take all the plushies for his pillow fort. And maybe silly hands to annoy people with.

Hmmm... Is there a cord or something trailing out of it leading to an on/off switch of sorts? He'll take a look for that first! If all else fails, he might try to get into the range itself to look at the silhouettes. ]

[ Unfortunately, it seems pretty self-contained, though getting into it isn't too hard! Being this close will show you that it's definitely New Rapture on the cutouts back here, though the targets seem to pull in from "offstage," so to speak, through tubes, so there's no telling what they are. ]

[ Tubes... Interesting! But also, what, or who are the cutouts of? ]

[ The only cutouts you can see back here are just scenery, it seems. Very little you haven't seen from your window. ]

[ Gotcha!! Next he's gonna move on over to some of the games and see if anything unusual sticks out from any of the consoles. ]

[ So they're pretty modern, standard consoles. The thing to not in particular is they all seem to have been made by a company with the same logo, though in true modern logo fashion, there's not a name to put to it. ]

[ Inchresting! Would this logo also happen to be on any of the stuff in the department store, by any chance? Floyd sorta went at some of the cushions in there- he probably saw some tags. ]

[ Not really, but it is on the screens in the bowling alley - maybe this is some kind of tech company? ]

[ Oooh, maybe so, maybe so! He'll keep the logo in mind aaaand check around the arcade a little bit more. Are there any crane games? What are the odds of finding something else in one of those, though? ]

[ There are indeed some crane games, with some Okay prizes? Pretty standard fare.

That said, in looking through all of the cabinets, one of the side panels on one of them looks a little loose. ]

[ Aha! He'll just move that aside and take a look~! He'll have to check out the games later in more detail. ]

[ Looks like the last repairman left in a hurry - there's a few tools down here, as well as an audio log! ]

[ Ooooh, nice! He's gonna take out the audio log and play it while inspecting the tools! ]

[ The tools are pretty normal, really - standard stuff for working with circuitboards - the juicy thing here, and the last Thing to find, is the audio log.

It's a man's voice! He sounds very... wannabe cool rich guy? ]

Hey! Hi! What's your name, uh... Henry Barlow? I will never get used to your weird human names- your boss, Mark Beaks, here! Hello! Founder of this city? Ring a bell? Listen, Henry, I'm gonna level with you - you need to fix this claw machine, like, for real this time, buddy. I have buyers lined up for my legally distinct series of original retro-cool arcade consoles in the rest of this city, and I can't move them! If they break every six months! So do me a solid and get this done, or I'm sending you to the farm to shovel experimental animal dung! Because I can do that! Oh, and, uh, Merry Christmas or whatever. Beaks out!

[ Ohhh nice, a name! That we can work with. Floyd will just take this audio log along with him and keep the tools in the compartment, putting the panel back where it was for now.

...And how ironic that Floyd is suddenly bored of investigating now, so he'll just go back to playing games again! Thank you, beloved mods~! ]
