Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[Holy books! Are they recognizable to Mr. Regular Earth Guy here?]

[ There's a King James Bible on top, at least! And some other Standard Earth holy books, as well as things like The Scriptures of Martel and other assorted books you've never heard of. ]

[Well, you put that in bold text, so he'll pick it up and flip through it. Maybe it's a weird one from a different universe that involves Kraalnor the Soul-Eater or something.]

[ The bible looks pretty normal! However, in grabbing it, there's something carved into the underside of the altar. ]

[Oh? Let's get down there and check that out.]

[bathymetric]

[ It says REVELATIONS 3:22! ]

[inaclearing]

[Okay, let's flip to that in this handy-dandy Bible, then! Brett doesn't know this verse off-hand because he's normal.]

[ He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. ]

[inaclearing]

[Hm! Is there like, an organ in here or anything like that?]

[bathymetric]

[ Nope! Though, while you're looking for one... is there a weird hum somewhere in here? ]

[inaclearing]

[Huh. Like a mechanical sort of hum? He'll look around to see if he can figure out where it's coming from.]

[bathymetric]

[ Seems to be coming from the floorboards in the corner. ]

[inaclearing]

[Oh, great. The old man's still-beating heart.

Brett paces closer, peering. Is there a way to pry these up by hand, or would he need tools?]

[ Upon closer inspection, looks like there's a knot you could use as a grip to remove one of the boards! ]

[inaclearing]

I really hope there isn't a body under here...

[But he's removing it!]

[bathymetric]

[ If there's a body it's, like... a borrower, or twelve borrowers, certainly not a person in this metal box. ]

[inaclearing]

[Hey, we're in the multiverse now, it could be a mass Borrower grave! But probably not, so Brett takes it out. Is it locked?]

[ It is! There's also a note taped to the top. ]

[Let's read it!]

PUZZLE 3: THAT OLD TIME RELIGION

[ The paper contains, around its edges, six drawings, which have been labelled. A cross, Vault Symbol, The Crest of Seiros, the Diamonds, the Cruxis, and a Lightning Bolt.

In the center is a list of rules.

1. The Vault Symbol should be removed fourth.
2. The Cruxis is not removed either before or after the Vault Symbol.
3. The Diamonds are not removed first or last.
4. The Cruxis is removed before the cross, which is removed before the Crest of Seiros.
5. The Bolt is removed before the Cruxis.
6. The Cross is not removed fifth.

[Ah, a logic puzzle! Luckily Brett's always got his notepad on him, so after a moment of sitting and writing it all out, he stands and goes to remove the symbols in the following order:

Lightning Bolt > Cruxis > Cross > Vault > Diamonds > Seiros]
