Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[ She looks over her shoulder from the drawer she's kneeling in front of, smiling slightly before looking in the direction of what he's staring at. ]

It's pretty unsightly, isn't it? I'm not feeling anything coming from it, although it did come out of that vending machine.

I was thinking of making something more wearable out of it.

[ He opens his mouth to ask "why?" then changes his mind. ]

Is that even possible? I would have burnt it on sight if I could access my skills.

[ She laughs, going back to the drawers. ]

Well, I am nothing if not a miracle worker, so I'm sure I'll make it work. It seems like a waste to just not use it.

[ Her normal fashion choices don't exactly line up with mid-century Americana clothing, so she makes do with what she's given. Also, she's just looking to shitpost a bit. ]

I knew Hild-noona was impressive, but if you can make something like that wearable...you really are one of a kind ♡.

[ Though he's not the type to take her word for it despite his sweet nothings. He finds a suitable spot on one of the counters and sits down, crossing his legs, prepared to witness this miracle with his own eyes. ]

[ That's probably for the best that he not put any faith in her abilities, if the fabric scissors she's fishing out of the drawer has any indication for how this is going to go. Once she finds a few pairs she stands back up and moves over to the station where she's got the clothing, taking a seat and figuring out what the best plan of attack on these clothes is. ]

You didn't come back here just to watch me work, did you?

[ "Work" is a strong word, Hild. ]

What would you think of me if I did? [ But he laughs, since they both know he's not the type to just be in pretty much any situation. ]

Of course not. Time passes faster when you're in the presence of lovely company doesn't it? Even more so with the added bonus of good conversation.

[daimakaicho]

[ She laughs in return, pushing her hair over her shoulder. ]

That something was wrong, mostly. You're not exactly one to idle around, even if it is just for me. Though a good conversation certainly does make it worthwhile.

[ She hums, taking the dress and holding it up to her, trying to see where the cut should go. ]

So, how does someone like yourself get to be the head of the top guild in Korea?

If I ever do that, it's a doppelganger, and a poorly made one at that.

[ Even when he sulks his sulking is..."productive"? :worry ]

Do you want the answer I give during interviews, or the actual answer?

I'll keep that in mind.~

[ She pauses, like she's weighing options between the two. ]

It wouldn't be too much if I asked for both, would it?

I wouldn't have offered if it was. Interview answer to start then.

[ He doesn't bother standing up from where he's seated, but he does adjust his suit, smoothing out the one wrinkle that escaped his attention while they were chatting. His posture which was previously relaxed, shifts to a proper form, though he's careful not to overdue it and go too rigid. ]

As I'm sure you know, the Hub is ripe with opportunities for everyone, regardless of battle class or social status. It's a brand new world in every sense, rewarding those who innovate and have a sense of adventure. Woo Ragi, Kim Olim and me founded Red Lotus with that dream in mind. While we have great respect for the strict hierarchy and codes of the other top ranked guilds, we wanted to build something a little different. To put it in another way, a guild with a little less red tape?

[ He laughs. ]

As for why I'm the leader, well. Ragi-yah would never want to give up his privacy and Olim-noona believes in a strict delineation between business and religion, like most holy knights. Naturally that leaves me. Well, me and a mountain of reports and spreadsheets, but it's a responsibility I bear with pride.

[ It all sounds picture perfect and rehearsed, because it is. ]

[ She stops what she's doing he talks, putting the dress down to prop her chin with her hand. ]

Not bad. It's certainly a diplomatic way of saying you do the brunt of the work, whether you want to or not.

[ That sounds vaguely familiar. She taps a nail on the table. ]

And the actual answer?

I'm the only who's capable of it. Woo Ragi...he's hard to describe, but if you imagine Vholran-ah, it's close enough. He's more than capable in combat but he gets into fights left and right because of his mouth. Kim Olim has a temper, to put it kindly. I had to bail her out of jail for murder, but anything can be reframed if you're good enough and have the resources.

As for me? I created Red Lotus since I kept grabbing people's attention, and if I'm going to do that I might as well reap the full rewards personally. Red Lotus was wildly successful because I don't accept anything less than the best from anyone, including myself. Often times that rubs people the wrong way but...I really can't hear ants from space, can I?

[ His posture has kept much the same, though his eyes are bright, and his smile is curved and wicked. ]

[ She chuckles, her smile as light as ever. ]

Sounds like a hassle. Though if you want it done right, things always have to be done yourself, hm?

[ She gets it. Not everyone can see the forest for the trees. ]

Though clearly something worked, being as decorated of a mage as you are. So like you said, anything any detractors might say doesn't hold any water, simply because they don't know any better.
