Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

Yup. This one is the pansexual flag—that's people who are into everyone, basically. Nothing to do with pots and pans.

…oh, it is about romantic preferences? I see… my first instinct was that it seemed a bit strange to have flags for that, but now that I think on it further, it seems somewhat helpful in avoiding misunderstandings.

This one is! There's ones for gender too—the one I put up in the arcade is for people who don't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.

[She's probably gonna make a nonbinary flag too. She just has to see if there's a book of them in the library or something.]

I do not... dislike the idea, actually. It is nice to have a representation for a community of like-minded people, though...

That's fair. I know some people that go with bi, which is kinda similar, over pan because they like the flag more.

The difference is, like, more philosophical than practical? And labels are a personal deal so.

Yeah! The one I put up in the art store is for all the lesbos like me.

[That's not, like, a secret. She's kind of surprised her fact on the profiles wasn't "Joy has a girlfriend because she's a lesbian."]

And I think it's pretty normal to give them to family members as, like, a support thing. Becky's—my girlfriend—Becky's mom made us rainbow cookies once.

Ah, I see. Admittedly, she is twenty summers, so I always worry she may feel coddled or embarrassed by such a thing… but I do have some time to consider, I suppose.

I think if you're, like, too aggressive about it then it'll come off that way. If you're just giving her a flag, though, it probably won't? At least, it wouldn't for me.
