Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[ The first thing of note is that this place has those horrible bowling alley animations. This isn't evidence, I'm just noting it.

The only other thing of note here in the concession stand is that, though he wouldn't know this, all the food here behind the counter is normal American Earth brands. Who's an Oscar Meyer Weiner? You are!

There's also Cup Noodle, but you're not the sort of Final Fantasy to truly appreciate that one I don't think. ]

but yeah gaius doesn't know shit about american earth brands or cup noodles. other than that they look pleasantly shitty. anyway. he'll move on to the bowling lanes themselves!]

[ So the lanes themselves are pretty normal - they even have controls to put up the gutter protectors, how nice - though if you spend enough time looking around, there is something you'll notice on the screens. ]

[ The audio log starts, but for a good moment, no one speaks? Instead, there's a long silence that just for some reason... You know those people who just kind of ooze a dark and tense aura? Yeah.

After a low hum, a voice we're going to designate Founder De Cuisine speaks, deep and annoyed. ]

An insult. That is all this can be referred to, at the end of the day. I have accepted our good Mayor's conditions. In choosing me as his gourmey culinary designer, he has truly made the first step in a long journey to making this city—no, this civilization great and not simply a sty for the animals to feed.

HOWEVER. My expertise cannot be applied if he insists on using me in this way. To be lowered to the absolute dredges of society and instructed to create a menu built on the impurities diluting and poisoning the culinary world.

Therefore!

[ It's louder now? Closer? ...Is this man making a proclamation? ]

This, Mayor Frank Fontaine, can be considered my resignation and your city's doom, should you refuse to abide by my demands. I will not have my ideals used on something as lowly as this... As unrefined as mere plebian bar food...!

[ His voice drops to a low murmur once more. ]
