Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

Mm, you're really being too kind to me.

But I might have to disappoint you, just a little. My enemies in the past [ There's a specific weight on this word, like it was a literal lifetime ago. ] are numerous, but also too unimportant to really merit mentioning. Calling them enemies might be too much, actually? There were many I left behind because they couldn't keep up with me or Red Lotus, and it's not like I killed them or anything like that. Mostly, I let them drown in their mediocrity—I'm sure some of them are still around, trying to get by on whatever scraps they can. There's really no point in paying attention to them. We did take and execute bounties for the record, but it was mostly impersonal and just business.

[ Did he bankrupt more than a few individuals and guilds? He sure did. ]

My enemies now...well, I'm just getting started. Killing them outright would be too easy and a courtesy they don't deserve. Rather than start from the center of it all, I'm going to work my way in from the outside. Not because I have to, but because I want to. I want them to know what it feels like to know you're being hunted, the fear of a noose getting tighter and tighter, of knowing that there's no escape and that death is whispering into your ear, in every shadow, every reflection.

[ He catches himself there at the end, his smile just as bright as his eyes and just as empty. Carefully he tucks that energy back between his lips, a bloodlust that almost seems to have a presence on its own, even in this place without skills or magic. ]

...All in all, there's roughly forty individuals who thought it was worth banding together to destroy Red Lotus, even if they never saw eye to eye and haven't since. Bae Jaemin will be the one I save for last, a fitting end for a traitor who sold us out for what? Fame? Respect? Jealousy? Well, when we meet again we can have a nice long chat either way~.

[ There is a chuckle that leaves Vholran at that. In the face of the man's rambling words, promising suffering to his enemies. It paints quite an image and he is the last person to be disgusted at such things. ]

I'd say that you haven't. Even if you haven't destroyed them, I can hear the conviction and imagine the terror you will send each and every single one of them into.

You're going to make me blush. [ While he's not, there is an almost demure quality to current expression. Sometimes you say more than you meant to, but given the topic (and perhaps the company) it can't really be helped. ]

[ He laughs, both at the statement and the implication of the unanswered reply. Truly he doesn't mind either of those things, and as much as he has confidence in spades, some things are always nice to hear. ]

You must have been bored. I take it these "recent events" are more exciting?

[ Clearly the game could not handle both of them alive at the same time due to their shared ego and combined massive confidence. Hence Vholran going to murder spree this week...!! ]

...Then again, it's difficult not for them to be when it concerns the fate of the world. [ Beat and as if by an afterthought, he adds: ] Two worlds, I suppose.

Two? [ Despite all he's seen, multiple worlds in the proper sense are a new concept to him. Not that he doesn't believe they could exist since. Hard to write anything off when your world is suddenly an MMO. ]
