Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

I'm monitoring him and others who have taken them, but there's only so much I can do. I'm aware it's human nature to have the freedom to take the wrong decisions, but that doesn't make it any less vexing.

[Says that but Aiba is close enough to human she also is capable of taking bad decisions, hah]

Is it really surprising that most people would go to great lengths for power? Even among non-mages it's still human nature, like you said.

True enough. Statistically speaking, there's enough people here at least one person would feel tempted by this motive. Ridiculous.

[To think someone may murder for this...well, it's unavoidable, unfortunately]

Oh, I think it's more than just one person judging by earlier. [ After kicking the glass one more time he turns back to her. ]

Though some of them claimed it was for self-defense reasons only...?

[It's likely it was just curiosity, or the allure of having powers for a while. Still...someone will murder to keep them, most likely. Geez]

Hmm, it's something to keep in mind for this weekend, don't you think? I'm not too sure how receptive they would be to the idea if it came from me, so~.

[ Despite saying this he really doesn't look like he plans on shutting up about his opinions, shy is one thing that's never been associated with him. He's just salty. ]

You made your point quite emphatically when the Mayor offered these substances, and they didn't listen...

[His wording left no ambiguity in the slightest, that's for sure]

...but they will have to listen once someone dies this weekend. Our lives are at stake.

[Even if they don't like Seo Dawon or don't like his way of talking, their own lives being in danger should be enough to get them to listen for once!

If they're all rational, of course. Then again, if they were rational, they wouldn't be injecting themselves with this stuff]

For most of them, it's almost felt secondary to their emotions, despite the actual danger of trials each week. Not that it's too surprising, but they're more stubborn than I initially gave them credit for. Vhloran is obviously a handful, but he has best interest, of survival, at the forefront of his actions regardless.

Overall, we've been pretty fortunate so far.

[ Seo Dawon is rather infamous for the way he speaks and handles situations—it rubs a lot of people the wrong way but it does usually produce results. So he is used to it, in one way or the other. It might serve him better to keep quiet, but again, that's just not who he is. ]

Do you think he will act anytime soon? I'm certain he will, with the right motive.

[just days before he goes and kills two people, hah]

Don't tell me you think I'm his partner too?~ [ That's a joke judging by his tone. Really he hasn't done much other than agree with him at opportune (inopportune?) times, and kind of understand how he thinks. ]

Vholran-ah will do what he wants, that's the kind of person he is. He also likes challenges too. It's more likely than not, if I had to pick a side.

[Okay, that definitely was a joke too, but it's harder to figure that out when she says it, haha]

In that case, perhaps he would prefer to target someone who can give him a fight.
