Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

You have not been feeling... out of sorts since using those Plasmids, have you?

I haven't. Admittedly, I was a bit concerned that I would have problems last night, because that tends to be when difficulties like to arise, but it seems to be fine.

I still cannot help but mistrust it. It looks like something we use back home for fuel, except red instead of blue... certainly, I cannot say it does not seem useful, but I would not want it in my veins...

That's entirely fair. I'm not going to try to argue with those that dislike or don't trust it; I know that taking it was ill-advised. But I promise I'll let people know if something doesn't feel right, or generally goes wrong.

Of course. I am not unfamiliar with the use of injections of some sort to gain an advantage, and it is not necessarily dangerous in all cases. I do hope no ill comes of it.

It's actually not something I have any experience with, outside of...well, this.

I wouldn't trade my normal magic for it at all, and it feels odd to be doing this without any instruments to aid in casting. But I can see where it might be nice, to experience this otherwise.

I see… I have never been able to use magic myself, nor have any of my native countrymen outside of extremely rare exceptions. Technology allows us to approach something similar, but I would be lying if I said I had never wondered about the experience.

Of course, from my very basic understanding mages of various kinds do still need some sort of focus in the way it seems you do, so I imagine it would still be different from the disciples that exist in my home realm…

I never thought about it too deeply until now. There are some Garleans who have made pacts with voidsent in order to be able to use their powers for themselves, but I have heard enough about the risks of doing so that I have not considered it to be a valid option.

...this seems a bit more accessible, and yet I still find myself concerned about it. Furthermore, I have been quite able to keep up with the aid of technology and my own abilities, so it is not actually necessary.
