Week 4

Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Sunday arrives ahead of schedule again, bringing with it the creeping dread that this is just how this is going to go. Welcome to the murdergame cycle.

At least there's another section of the city available to you! This one even has some things to do without you having to make your own fun. Which also means there's more to find about this place.

There's still over 20 of you alive... maybe that's something to celebrate? It could be worse! But... at least one of you is an attempted killer, apparently. Either way, better keep talking if you want regains!

[Finish they did! A couple of times, actually. But for once, especially since this is both an emotionally and physically intimate scenario, he negates sharing the nitty gritty titty details. Nervously, he asks:]

i don't really listen in on shit I know doesn't involve me, but go you! We have to take the wins we can get in this place.

[She means that, genuinely. In life her general philosophy is that you have to take the wins you can get, but well. It's especially true here, she thinks. Battle royale shit is always full of losing and she's still kind of upset about Hodaka in a way that she can't really quantify.

It's weird. Being in herself, present in one place, makes things feel more than she's used to. Is that a good thing? She doesn't know.]

So, is it a whole deal or were you guys more ships passing in the night?

Listen, you're like my brother I guess? There's not really a word for just "brother" in Chinese, it's always older or younger and you're not really either... 'cause of all the [She waves her hand around, vaguely.] stuff. You know.

[She doesn't know how to encompass "we're both in a situation where we can be in multiple worlds and time gets weird as hell that way" in a concise way. Sometimes it's better to just leave stuff in the gaps. He'll know what she means.]
