[At the appointed time, Misfire can be found standing triumphantly in the street. Beside him is a pile of spray cans, brushes, and buckets of paint; by the looks of it, he emptied the whole store. He’s wearing the dress Forrest made him too, and using the pocket space to carry even more stuff on him.

When enough people have gathered, he’ll address them:]

Alright, here’s the deal: it’s come to my attention that some of you have missed out some crucial formative experiences, or otherwise haven’t known the joys of anti-social behavior. And, since writing stuff on walls has been a historical expression of dissent, I think there’s no better time or place to fix that.

[Grinning, he picks up something out of his pile - a water gun filled with purple paint.]

Frankie didn’t outlaw vandalism, so let’s make him realize that egregious oversight. In technical terms - go nuts.

Aha, that's a fair assumption. But it's neither -- it's one of the principles of my club. This is a little different than archery, but... not that much changes.

Being an archer suits you. [ He looks up to admire her handiwork. ]

Applying what you know to novel situations is important. But if you had told me you used physics to calculate that throw, I would have been really impressed~. [ He's teasing given her studies but he can see it too. ]

[...Well, people do say it suits her a lot. They must be onto something.]

There's plenty of calculations involved in archery, to be fair. Maybe people don't really think about them, just calling it instinct or muscle memory.

But when you get down to it, archery is just the applications of Newton's laws of motion.

[ The mention of actual physics makes him laugh. ]

Any real metric of skill is part muscle memory, part knowing the foundation and how to apply it. It's unlikely that you'd have the time in the heat of the battle to work through actual equations, but if you've trained with them in mind it gets to be instinct at that point.

Well. Luckily, I don't think I'll ever be in battle, so that doesn't matter to much to me. I probably wouldn't be very good at it.

Like martial arts? No, not really. I participate in other clubs sometimes, but nothing like that.
