So the mood, test subjects, has been a little... rough, maybe. The vibes, they're not great for a lot of you. Even some of the normally calm and/or collected among your number seem to have let this week's motive get to them, and when the lights click on on Friday there are some among you who may well just assume there's a body to find. It wouldn't exactly be unreasonable, would it?

But hey, maybe you all held out! Maybe this can be a turning point in your fight against The Professor and his motives, and you can come together to tell him off once and for all! Wouldn't that be nice? One nice week.

Well, only one way to find out if that's an option.

Is there anything immediately out of place that Rin would notice upon entering, or does she have to head farther in? ]

[ Well, the general mess that seems to have knocked over a bunch of the chairs isn't gonna be a great sign, for starters. ]

[mouflon]

[ Let's get a closer look at those chairs. Does it look like they were just knocked over or do any of them appear to have been thrown, or is there any specific damage to them, etc? ]

[ it looks like mostly they've been knocked over, but there's also some general damage to some of the cabinets, the further you go in. ]

[ What kind of damage are we talking about? Dents, cuts? ]

[ both of the above! But in looking at this... you might come across the true tragedy, back in the row of games. ]

[ Oh no. Who else are we paying our respects to this day? ]

[ It's horrible. Cut down in its prime, the damage probably irreversible without paying some serious cash for replacement parts. Discarded, forgotten, not even given the dignity of a body announcement despite being a steadfast friend and good good boy.

The SEGA Bass Fishing reel controller is dead.

aight, again, what kind of damage are we talking about here? The reel bit snapped off, the whole thing smashed, what? ]

[ it looks like it's been cut, actually? ]

[ Huh.

Like, in half? ]

[ very nearly, if not completely. a tragedy for our time. ]

[ Okay, well, if Rin can disconnect it from the machine, she'll bring it with her to the trial. Otherwise Mira will just have to come here and take pictures of the second victim too, idk.

Anything else Rin can find if she does a sweep of the arcade cabinets, or does Nira have the rest covered? ]

[ Nira's got it! But yeah, it's not too hard to disconnect and take the controller. ]

[While Rin investigates the general area, Nira's gonna take Aria to sniff around for either blood or chlorine, after noticing where the body ended up.]

[ there's definitely some blood spatter in here! it's a little light, and it looks like it's mostly concentrated near the exit. ]

[ It's hard to tell much, but if you had to guess the blood was probably spilled in the room, yes ]

[Well. Does it look like any of it was cleaned up after being spilled?]

[ nope! it's pretty light, anyway.

though there is something near it that might be of interest. ]

[ Looks like a scabbard under a nearby arcade cabinet! ]
