So the mood, test subjects, has been a little... rough, maybe. The vibes, they're not great for a lot of you. Even some of the normally calm and/or collected among your number seem to have let this week's motive get to them, and when the lights click on on Friday there are some among you who may well just assume there's a body to find. It wouldn't exactly be unreasonable, would it?

But hey, maybe you all held out! Maybe this can be a turning point in your fight against The Professor and his motives, and you can come together to tell him off once and for all! Wouldn't that be nice? One nice week.

Well, only one way to find out if that's an option.

It looks like this, but with this symbol on it! A very normal thing to find in a chest, one might say. ]

[ ...Weird. It doesn't really seem like it would be a good idea to take it out or anything right now, but she'll definitely have Mira take some photos of it and ask for second opinions.

For now, let's see if there's anything else up with his body. Are there any other wounds that are apparent just by looking at him? ]

[ There's a few notable ones! First off, there's a decent-sized cut on his left arm. ]

[ Nothing stuck in this one, right? Any indication of what kind of weapon caused it that she'd be able to tell at a glance? ]

[ A blade? Probably?? It's a little weird, because well...

None of the normal death things seem to have set in at all. The body looks preserved, as though this literally just happened, so either you all missed the killer by two seconds or the body just isn't... decomposing. ]

Why is it so...fresh?

[ She's going to feel a little stupid for this, but it has to be done; he doesn't have a pulse, does he? ]

[ SETETH GETS UP AND BITES- nah, nothing like that. There's no pulse or anything, he's definitely dead, just... freshly dead! For all appearances!

Perhaps you could distract yourself by examining one of the other super fresh-looking sets of wounds on his person? ]

[ Well first off, there are a lot of small bruises and cuts on the man in general! Oof. ]

[ He really got himself into a bit of a scrap, huh? We'll have Mira document those precisely. Do any of them seem defensive? Hands, forearms, feet, legs? ]

[ It's just covered in splinters. Like... several of them. Yikes. ]

[ Got it. Anything else strange about this terrible horrible no good very weird body, or is that a wrap? Since we can't estimate a time of death here...

Oh! Here's a question: is there any indication that the body's been moved, or is it safe to assume that he probably just died way up here? ]

[ From the way the body is positioned and the way the blood has gone, you can tell it's very unlikely it was moved! ]

[ That's better than nothing, at least. Seems like that's about all there is to be gleaned from touching around. It really doesn't seem like taking the stone out is a good idea, so let's just leave it be and let our pictures do the talking... ]
