[ ... Well, that was an absolute shitshow, wasn't it? Instead of dwelling on how she feels about everything that just happened, Mira's channeling that energy into something else--and she has a little bit of help doing it. Zerinda and Ema are here in the bar to make drinks, and Mira's brought in a ton of food that's definitely not healthy for anyone, but screw it, who cares about health right now?

Della's here to pass out invitations, too--they let everyone know there's a gathering in the bar, if they'd rather not be alone.

If you choose not to come, well... Mira's got that taken care of, too. She'll place a little container of cookies and hot cocoa outside your door. Maybe it'll help someone feel a little less alone--at least, that's what she's hoping. ]

Used to be my job - I went to school for it and everything.

[Anyway then the sharknados attacked.]

No wonder you look so comfortable there. [ a pause. ] What made you choose that?

[Nova just uhhhhhhh. Takes a fucking sip of her drink! That sure is a question.]

It seemed better than stripping. [She shrugs.] At the time, I didn't think I was smart enough for "real" college and I didn't have enough money to afford it anyway.

I think it's pretty neat, at least... It must be nice to have some sort of familiarity, at least.

It is. Not a huge fan of [She gestures at the ocean surrounding them.] all this, but I can't really avoid it down here.

... Honestly, I'm starting to get incredibly sick of it, too. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at the ocean without feeling sick again, which is a problem for someone who lives in Washington....

I moved out of California after the first sharknado because I couldn't stand the sight of water. I used to work at a bar on the beach.

... I can see why you'd want to get out of there. Where did you move, after that?

Around. Wherever the sharknados went, I went too so I've lived everywhere from Vegas to London.
