I don't really do this for the score. It gets out the... You know, the extra energy. It just feels nice.

If that's all you want, you could just go for a run... Though, that isn't as satisfying when you're on a treadmill.

[ It's been over a month, maybe being indoors all the time might be getting to her. ]

On a run, your mind just kind of wanders. I need something to do with my body and my mind.

[ Not that a stray thought never sneaks its way in. But, usually, moving her body until it hurts is good enough. ]

...I know I can't speak for everyone. That kind of thing...it depends on what your regret even is. But, by speaking for myself, I... I was hoping it would flush out whoever else spent the week thinking about it. I know that kind of thing is none of my business, otherwise.

[ But she'll leave the statement there. Just like how she won't comment on the way Della's thoughts make it clear her own regret is an old thing. ]

Either way, we were lucky. It seemed like something she was primed to argue about.

...It seemed to be a hot button for her. I knew depending on how she reacted, I could rule her out, or...or it would confirm my suspicions.
