SIXTH INVESTIGATION

It's Friday again, never a sign of great things in this place. There's a foreboding sense of... something in the air, though you have no idea what it could realistically be. There's nothing immediately off as you leave your rooms, but... it's of note that you do still have your powers. So maybe nothing bad happened after all! Look how small your number is, have you finally gone a week without killing just through the elimination of sheer volume alone? It's easy to hope so! And easy to think so, given the whole of Area A is clear.

So why won't that sinking feeling go away?

[ Well, there's a few things here - the first to note is probably all the kicked up and disturbed dirt around the place. ]

[ Oh no, it's... all over the place. It looks more like someone or multiple someones did a lot of real vigorous running around in here.

There's dirt on the walls, too, along with all those claw marks, scorch marks, and bullet holes. ]

[ ALRIGHT THAT'S FUN??? O.....kay, let's examine the size of those claw marks and scorch marks!!!! ]

[ The claw marks definitely look like they could have been left by a larger than average human hand. The scorch marks are mostly just in the "bigger than you want them to be" category. ]

[ As I hate to ask again, nothing Della-sized, in terms of scorch marks?

Let's also try counting up these bullet holes. Maybe...seeing if she can retrieve any bullets from them? We've got a few guns floating around here, after all. ]

[ Probably not? But they're not small.

The ones in the walls aren't coming out, but so long as she's looking... there seem to be a few discharged into the pond that might be easier to grab! ]

Just a couple more quick things to note before you're done here, the first being that the damage also hit the dirt and plants, it's fairly indiscriminate!

[ It's not that it's taken no damage at all, but... there's noticeably less damage to the poison plants section. It could just as easily be an issue of the direction of combat as anything else, but it's worth mentioning! ]

One last clarification question, any exact number on how many bullet holes/number of shots, or is it fair to just say A Fuckton and leave it at that? ]

[ That's more than fair. The bullet count doesn't really figure in here. ]
