You wake up with Saturday gone, but... not entirely forgotten. In the same way things seem to be breaking down in the facility, things beyond what you know are starting to fail as well. You get flashes of an unfamiliar room, a groggy sense of timelessness... and then you're back to reality in your beds. It's Sunday.

There are no new locations to unlock this week. You actually find yourself down some - Area D has flooded completely, and the groaning on the doors to the other areas indicates that perhaps the flooding won't stop there. Someone, however, seems to have taken all the memorials (except for poor Zelos-David, god rest his soul) and moved them to the Lounge "overnight." There's a handwritten note on top of all of them, which simply reads "Thought you guys would rather have these than not. :)"

While you obviously won't run into Angel anywhere, use of the Ouija or pestering of the new Assistant are still more than permitted! Otherwise get your affairs in order, get ready, and brace for impact, because one way or another? The end is coming.

Rin. To be fair, that was...almost two months ago, now. But, you know. ...I'm not trying to...pity you, or anything. It just sounds like it sucked.

I'd be pretty mad if I thought it was just pity. I think part of it probably is, but I don't think that's all of it; it makes a difference.

God, I can't even say I came out okay, because I know damn well that I didn't. Probably would've tried to argue the point before this entire situation, though.

...I've always been aware of being pretty different to most people, I just never thought that was an issue, you know? If people weren't okay with me that was their problem and not my responsibility; if I'm not operating on the same wavelength as them then they need to get on my level.

I don't know. Al used to have issues with me sometimes, used to say I was immature and didn't really pay attention to the bigger picture if I had some other detail I could use to dismiss it. [God help us, Albert Wesker may have made one salient point back when he was like 22.] I'm not going to say the guy was right, just that I'm kind of thinking about stuff. I don't know.

It...sounds like you got each other, at least. But... It also sounds like this isn't something you're just gonna figure out here. Whatever there is to figure out.

[...It likely explains a lot to point out that this moment of clarity came after the following exchange:

In the middle of the absolute deathtrap that was the Arklay facility. So I'm not sure if Albert Wesker possessed clarity or Birkin just, like, completely whiffed a spot check.]

Maybe there's not anything. Hard to say, really. Either way, I'm not sure how worth pursuing it is now, either way.

...Yeah, while we're trying to figure out how to...you know, claw our way outta this place. As long as you... If you want to, give yourself time to, when...when we finish this. If you want a close-to-normal-person view of it, I think it'd stand to be...not the worst exercise.

...One thing at a time, I guess. This place, and then not getting shot another twenty times, and maybe then the whole normal-person thing.

At the very least...something that might get you shot at a little less.
