You wake up with Saturday gone, but... not entirely forgotten. In the same way things seem to be breaking down in the facility, things beyond what you know are starting to fail as well. You get flashes of an unfamiliar room, a groggy sense of timelessness... and then you're back to reality in your beds. It's Sunday.

There are no new locations to unlock this week. You actually find yourself down some - Area D has flooded completely, and the groaning on the doors to the other areas indicates that perhaps the flooding won't stop there. Someone, however, seems to have taken all the memorials (except for poor Zelos-David, god rest his soul) and moved them to the Lounge "overnight." There's a handwritten note on top of all of them, which simply reads "Thought you guys would rather have these than not. :)"

While you obviously won't run into Angel anywhere, use of the Ouija or pestering of the new Assistant are still more than permitted! Otherwise get your affairs in order, get ready, and brace for impact, because one way or another? The end is coming.

I figured you would. I have two rifles and a shotgun up for grabs, depending on what you're most comfortable with.

Weirdly, I haven't seen any of those turn up. Just stuff I need two hands for.

Well... If someone else can use it better, give it to them. I'll take it, but I'm much more comfortable with one-handed weapons.

You know, I wasn't going to ask you, given the kind of stuff I actually have, but... Can you use a rifle comfortably?

I'm actually going to echo Della here and say that I'd be better with handguns, but for some reason we don't have any of those.

[So there's that. Dislikes: handguns and all, but better those than anything else.]

If someone else is better with them, let them have it; I can manage with what I've got. But if it's needed, then I can figure something out. Don't expect me to get any decent headshots with it, but if there's an entire person-sized target to aim at that isn't so bad.

Let me think. There are four guns, and eight of us, which means we can keep them pretty evenly distributed, all things considered. The question is just who would be best at handling what...

...Actually, would a shotgun be better or worse for you? It has a machete strapped to the end and everything.

Yeah, pretty much. I figured it'd be better for you, seeing as it takes some of the finer details out of aiming, and the machete should give you some extra range even after you've run out of rounds.

I can operate projectile weapons. [ that said, based off steven universe weapons this probably means like... blasters and crossbows and shit ] Maybe not what you've got, but it's not like it'd be hard to learn.

Honestly, once I show you where the safety is, you'll probably be good to go. The bigger concern I have is if the trigger is going to be too small for your hand.

I'm better with staves but...it's not that different from using the squirt gun, right?

Uh, well... Kind of? [ Assuming she has gotten the gun back from Jasper, she'll hand it over to Zerinda. ] A real gun is a lot heavier, and there are a lot more things you have to worry about. Like recoil from shooting it, or reloading, or even just being aware of the safety.

But... Therion and I rescued some supplies from the workshop the other day. I could probably rig something together you could take a practice shot at.

Recoil I can handle. Lightning spells tend to have quite a bit of that. Everything else though...practice might be a good idea.

In that case, I'll set something up against the wall in the fitness room. Give me a couple of hours, and I can get together a... relatively safe shooting range.
