You wake up with Saturday gone, but... not entirely forgotten. In the same way things seem to be breaking down in the facility, things beyond what you know are starting to fail as well. You get flashes of an unfamiliar room, a groggy sense of timelessness... and then you're back to reality in your beds. It's Sunday.

There are no new locations to unlock this week. You actually find yourself down some - Area D has flooded completely, and the groaning on the doors to the other areas indicates that perhaps the flooding won't stop there. Someone, however, seems to have taken all the memorials (except for poor Zelos-David, god rest his soul) and moved them to the Lounge "overnight." There's a handwritten note on top of all of them, which simply reads "Thought you guys would rather have these than not. :)"

While you obviously won't run into Angel anywhere, use of the Ouija or pestering of the new Assistant are still more than permitted! Otherwise get your affairs in order, get ready, and brace for impact, because one way or another? The end is coming.

Cool. So... if I can get all of you guys into my office, that should be a good place to start looking through some of the, you know. Behind the scenes stuff.

[ She takes a long breath. ]

There's just... you know, the obvious obstacle to that. But if you guys do something for me tomorrow, I think I can get the Failsafe out of your hair.

What do you need from us.

[ Her tone is... cautious, like she's choosing her words carefully. ]

If you guys can get her out of her office and into the common area, I can keep her busy long enough to get in there and lock the door behind you. Then you guys can investigate to your heart's content until The Professor calls the trial.

Hmm.

[ This is the face of a space alien who is absolutely pondering physically picking Cassandra up and throwing her out of the office, so like, if anyone else wants to come threadjack and start coming up with a game plan here... anyone at all... ]

[ The actual plan here she will leave up to you guys, but it would be bad form to spring it on yall tomorrow morning! ]

She's dedicated to her job. It'd be a bad idea to break a rule when we don't have full access to our abilities... but as the Assistant, she's got certain duties we can use. Can't we.

Angel. The Assistant's supposed to help maintain the facility, right?

Yup. Especially with how the facility is, you know. Doing overall.

She swore she'd do everything in her power to keep us all safe for the exercise. Fixing a toilet or six shouldn't be too much to ask.

Angel... [ Even though there’s no surveillance here, Della still lowers her voice, like someone may be watching. ] She’s under orders to kill you. Aren’t you putting yourself in more danger?

She is, but... look, what I'm planning to do is going to sound really stupid if I say it out loud right now, but I know how to get to her. If you trust me here, both she and I will be waiting for you at the end of all this.

I have a question for you though. [She reaches into her blouse and pulls out the Cassandrium necklace.] Do you recognize this?

Hang on, I'm still getting the hang of my powers again... Do I have to do another phase shift, or...?

[ There's a pause. ]

I... think so? Something about... an element?

[ A pause. Cassandrium. ]

Where... did you even get that?

The vending machine gave it to me. [At this point she's not entirely convinced the vending machine doesn't have a will of it's own so yeah, she's considering it a gift.]

Cassandra said it had her name but she doesn't know why. She said she'd never seen it before. I was hoping you'd have a little insight.

Of course it did.

[ THAT FUCKING THING.... ]

I remember she had it. I think the vending machine gave it to her, too.

...She's had her memories messed with too. I don't know if it's to the same level, because...she remembers you. She clearly cares about you.

But, uh. Yeah. That's sure something that I've been trying to get around.
