So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

She is interested in seeing if there are any accounts of, say, crimes she would be familiar with. We're talking Ted Bundys and Gary Ridgways, stuff like that.

Mostly, she's trying to gauge if whoever's in charge here might be familiar with her world and time. ]

[ So interestingly, there aren't really any exclusively crime history texts in here? The section on crime is almost entirely the weird No Credited Author guides - not just to murder, either, frankly the majority is about how to commit other crimes, nearly all involving very little in the way of physical harm! Theft is a big one, large-scale larceny apparently being a favorite of the non-author, and the general sense is pretty much "how to commit crimes in the modern world for personal gain."

There are a few real-world models used as examples, that's where Mira's going to find actual indications of crime. You like DB Cooper, Mira? The author sure writes a pretty scathing review of his work. Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy gets a chapter near the start of one of these, there's plenty of historical figures named in there. The closest any of these books really get to a Ted Bundy is the book on forming cults for monetary gain, which makes reference to several real-world ones. ]

[ Ex...citing!! And not at all concerning! She's absolutely writing down her findings. At least there's no Murder 101 here, but it's still definitely a thing.

Alright, let's head to the psychology section, if no one's investigated that! Mostly she's looking for stuff on social psychology experiments, like.... the Stanford Prison Experiment, for example. ]

[ The psychology section is a lot tougher to get through the books in, they're... much denser and more technical. But there's definitely references to real-world experiments and studies - if she's looking for The Stanford Prison Experiment in particular, that's definitely mentioned a couple times in one of the comparatively lighter books! ]

[ Interesting. Is there an underlying theme here, other than "psychology"--like is there a large portion dedicated to stuff like mob mentality, stress, etc.... She'll be keeping to the lighter books because. Well. That other shit is super dense, no thank you. ]
