So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

It's not like I do this with everything I eat! It's just that apparently they didn't stock the kinds of spices I want back there, so I have to make do with the next best thing!

Five-spice powder, first of all. [ She still seems wary... But at the same time, the allure of complaining to a willing audience is too strong. ] You'd think with a name like that, they could just mix up their own back there, but apparently, you'd be wrong. I'm not sure what spices they tried to substitute, but they weren't it.

...No, you're absolutely correct. If they have the five spices in question, they should have been able to make their own blend. Unless they simply don't, which is also a possibility, but you would think they'd at least say something about it instead of assumedly replacing it with a lesser product?

It's the pepper. [ ... ] At least the pepper. I know the right kind can be a little hard to find in some parts of the world, but seriously, where is he stocking the kitchen from anyway?

Not to mention that whenever I ask for something Chinese, it comes out more like that fake Chinese food you get in the West. Not that there's anything wrong with that, if it's what you want to eat, but.
