So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

It's only been a week, and no one's starving or beating us. Is a little frustration enough to take you down, princess?

Excuse me? I'm sure you want to get out as much as anyone.

Of course I do. You think any thief likes a gaol? I'm just not dying to get out.

I hope you're at least putting in some effort, or that would just be sad. Especially since everyone in here knows you're a thief, like you said. It must be miserable.

Wow. That makes me real excited to share anything I've found with the class.

What? I'm only saying you must hate it in here, so the fact that you're "not dying to get out" sounds like you've just given up.

[He sighs and settles further back in his seat, crossing his arms.]

Don't be ridiculous. My point is, I'm not dying down here for any reason. With that... machine, we get more resources by the day. Those doors won't stay locked for long.

You've got a point, I'll admit, but there isn't much of use yet. I think trying to break the vault door to that elevator would only damage the axe.

[Bold of her to assume Therion knows what an elevator is, but the statement leads him somewhere else entirely.]

...What's your axe made of?

It's steel, so it'd break a wooden door. Good for firewood and that sort of thing. Rule 6(a) does only bar damage to the windows, so...

Exactly.

[He thinks it over a moment, then gets up.]

What I'm about to suggest might not be good for the blade, either, but it could be better than hacking at the, uh. Vault door. [That's what it's called.] The vending machine isn't all that's in that room. Let's go.

Very well. We'll see what happens bypassing their games.

[Anna gets up, abandoning the TV, and stops by her room, where all this crap can be seen stored as she goes straight for the axe. Now it's off to the vending machine room.]

If he gets upset, he's got no one to blame but himself.

[ Okay, so uh... what are we doing here, exactly? With this axe?? ]

[Busting a wall, apparently.]

[By now, Therion doesn't even need to touch the wall to find the place where the door is. He traces its outline for Anna and then taps each side.]

It's bolted, here and here. Could be barred across the whole door. You're sure you want to try this?

Of course I'm sure! The rules say up and down, "you are allowed to do whatever else you please with the space" aside from damaging the windows. That is not a window.

[And with that, she's going to... try and aim between the locks Therion pointed out and attack the wall.]

[And Therion's getting the heck outta the way. DODGERS GOTTA DODGE!]

[ Oh dear. WELL, OKAY THEN.

The contact is loud, and... with this much force, it's certain from the sound of the impact that the space behind this wall is hollow.

Unfortunately, it seems like an axe isn't quite going to cut it here. The axe doesn't break, but the door doesn't seem to, either. ]

[Anna lets out a frustrated scream, striking the wall a few more times before staggering back. She takes in a slow breath and glares at the wall like it personally offended her.]

It's empty behind, why can't I break it?! What did they reinforce this door with?
