So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

I was able to learn a bit more about the operations of this facility from the cooking staff, if nothing else. There's a "cleaning crew," apparently, and food is transported in overnight via submarine.

...He also seems satisfied with his working arrangement, so I doubt he could be swayed into cooperating with us.

Wait, why would you try? The thought of him changing sides when it's his own exercise is ridiculous.

Oh, I was talking about the chef, not the Professor himself. Obviously, the Professor is unquestionably our enemy, but I was curious about the employees' actual allegiances.

So the rest of the employees are about as amendable to this situation as the Professor himself. I suppose it's good to know they're just as sickening as he is.

Indeed. It's unfortunate, but I cannot say I'm terribly surprised.

Angel says she wants to keep anyone from dying, for whatever reason she has to do so. I don't believe it for a second, of course, but then why would she say it if no one else on staff is?

As much as I'd like to agree, we'd still need to find that machine to send everyone back to where they came from.

It's possible, yes. I'm not sure how one would operate them, but it's something.

Ah, perhaps. I'm not sure if they'd leave anything quite that useful there for our perusal, but it's worth looking into, at the very least.

No, he didn't. I assume "overnight," but it isn't as though we have a mandatory curfew. Perhaps they only clean the kitchen?

I've been trying not to leave messes in any other areas, so I can't say for sure if those other places have been cleaned while I'm not there. [She looks thoughtful.] Maybe they have their own passages they can use to hide quickly if one of us suddenly shows up.

Is it normal for a cleaning staff to clean the... air passageways?

...it depends, I think. If the vents are too small, then they probably have some devices to do that for them, or just clean the areas they can reach. Though they should have some way to stop dust from accumulating...

No, I did not. I only spoke to him through the door. Perhaps I should have asked to go in, but...

Oh, I'm sure he wouldn't show himself. Everyone who works down here except Angel seem to be hiding from sight.
