So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

Did he mention when the cleaning staff come out?

No, he didn't. I assume "overnight," but it isn't as though we have a mandatory curfew. Perhaps they only clean the kitchen?

I've been trying not to leave messes in any other areas, so I can't say for sure if those other places have been cleaned while I'm not there. [She looks thoughtful.] Maybe they have their own passages they can use to hide quickly if one of us suddenly shows up.

Perhaps so. There are many areas we don’t seem to have access to, so some may just be more or less obvious than others.

I guess we could try and just knock on every wall and see which ones sound hollow...

I suppose there are worse potential strategies. It can’t hurt as long as we’re not too rough.

Is it normal for a cleaning staff to clean the... air passageways?

...it depends, I think. If the vents are too small, then they probably have some devices to do that for them, or just clean the areas they can reach. Though they should have some way to stop dust from accumulating...

All right. I thought it was oddly clean up there, but maybe that's just how it is.
