So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

[Alan Menken is killing him softly with his song, spilling his life with his words.]

Well, 'cause it rocks? Also, it's about a thief with a lotta heart. Just sayin'.

So we're both thieves. Doesn't mean we share anything else.

[Except purple color coding. And a love of apples. And almost every narrative beat in their lives.]

Well, then you can critique his style. It's just something to get everyone a bit loose an' relaxed.

[ Score! She's not going to fist-pump in success but she sure looks close to it. ]

[He crosses his arms and watches silently, the picture of judgmental adolescence, even if he is (legally) an adult. He does huff half a laugh once Aladdin finally leaves the guards in the dung, though.]

[ Della's cooled it on singing along, because she wants Therion to get the proper experience. ]

No, he's clearly an amateur.

[As opposed to Therion, who is very cool and professional and never got his hand stuck in a vending machine.]

But most guards are that stupid. So that's accurate enough.

Oh, of course, absolutely.

[ She's holding back a smirk. ]

So, any other parts accurate?

...Not a whole lot. The swords, I guess.

[Something tight and hard briefly flickers across his face.]

[ She looks back just in time to see--something. Not much. But enough to know... ]

...Hey... Therion...

Not like most of us can afford to keep a clever pet around. And our fellow men are even worse.

[Up he tugs his scarf, his usual tell.]

Thieves aren't exactly the most trustworthy people. Makes partnership a risky proposition. It's better to work alone.

What about your traveling companions?

[ She asks this softly, very much so. ]

I'm useful to them, for now. They help me out in return for my... unique skills. I know better than to expect more than that once they're done with me.

[Because they're nice people who don't deserve Therion's ever-present mistrust.]

You seem like a good guy, Therion. Alfyn and the others... I'd say give them a chance to prove you wrong.

[bolderfell]

[There are several impossibilities in what she says, starting with "You seem like a good guy" and ending with "give them a chance to prove you wrong." He frowns at her, a dozen denials crowding for space to be said, and finally only breathes out and shakes his head.]

Getting out of here comes first. Then I guess I'll see if they even missed me.

[ ...She's going to keep an eye on him. That's what Della decides, in that little pause. She nods, humming in acknowledgement. ]

'Course. Just...don't count anything out, until you know for sure.
