So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.

No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

[ Hi Zerinda! Before you can settle in, there's a dog trotting on over to you. Hello!!

Mira isn't too far behind her, either. ]

Ah-- Daisy. Be polite.

[bogwife]

[Zerinda lets out a small gasp and drops to her knees in an instant to give Daisy vigorous ear rubs.]

This is the tiniest dog I've ever seen in my life! Her name is Daisy?

[philoxenia]

That's right.

[ Daisy, foolishly, thinks this place is the best ever. She's getting so much attention. She has no idea of the crimes that will take place soon enough. ]

She's the smallest you've ever seen? You must have some huge dogs.

[bogwife]

[Live in peace and ignorance, sweet Daisy.]

Aren't a lot of small dogs in rural Fereldan that aren't Mabari war hounds. They're possitively massive! Anything smaller are likely to be in the laps and bags of Orlesian nobles and I've only met one or two who've ended up in my bog.

[philoxenia]

[ Indeed. ]

Well, if you can believe it... in my world, there are even smaller dogs. Some that could even fit in your pocket or bag.

[bogwife]

Even smaller? Do you mean nug-sized? [She looks delighted but pauses.] ...do you have nugs where you’re from?

[philoxenia]

[ unless u mean chicken nuggies ]

No... I have no idea what a nug is. [ She tilts her head a little. ] But now you've made me curious.

[bogwife]

Nugs are- hm. [She frowns, finally stopping her ceaseless affection for Daisy to tap her fingertips against her chin in thought.] They're...if you know rabbits, they're like rabbits? But they have no hair and they mostly live underground.

I suppose they're more like moles or pigs if they could live underground but my Mama Kazda always calls them "naked rabbits best served in cream sauce".

[ Zerinda has stopped petting her, and Daisy thinks this is an absolute tragedy. She whines, but Mira gives her a little pat, which seems to appease her. ]

Ah, I love rabbits! [ She nods. ] Hmm, if rabbits in your world are about this size-- [ and she places her hands a standard rabbit's size apart ] --then I think I know what you're talking about. And, yes, there are dogs that small.

[bogwife]

[Zerinda's eyes are downright sparkling over the very thought of tiny dogs.]

Amazing. Like I said, I've only really met Mabaris. They're cute and all and can be very sweet if you're familiar with them but nug-sized dogs. Too bad it'd be impossible to keep Julius from eating one.
