WEEK 2
So far, good news! You've managed to avoid killing! A week has passed in the facility, but how many more are there to go until one of you tries out Rule Seven? I mean.... we know, but.
No new areas just yet, it remains you guys and yours here for now. Well, and Angel, but again - you don't exactly see her unless you want to. It's more than a little lonely... maybe someone ought to shake things up.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to Week 2, your first case week! Remember to turn in regains here, your AC for last week here, and if you like, come visit Angel's office hours here!

His first stop is the dining area, where he doesn't stay to eat lunch, but rather unceremoniously leaves the following items on a table in the back: A gingerbread house missing all its candy decorations and also one panel of roofing, a Black Lotuss card, a coconut, and a dinner dish that sort of still smells like mapo and/or the brimstone of hell, even though it's been desperately scrubbed clean. Whatever. These are not his problem no more.
His makeshift sack still has plenty in it, though, when he brings it to the fitness room. Its contents, once he unties his cloak and spreads it out, turn out to be strips of fabric, all of different weights and colors. He might have six or seven entire outfits' worth of imperfectly-cut, inch-wide ribbon. Say, are those... tiger stripes? Is. Is that Nic Cage's eye staring out at you from the pile?
He ties a few strands to one of the machines, about waist-high. Once the knot's secure, Therion begins to braid. Since he has to keep tying new strands of fabric to old ones and none of them are the same material, the rope's coming out uneven and lumpy. He'd never make it on Pinterest. But his hands are deft, and ugly cord may be better than none.
He only ever pauses to pop a gumdrop into his mouth.]
fitness room
Pretty creative use of fabric, there!
[ Despite the somber mood from yesterday, Ema seems like she's in particularly high spirits today. She might just be frustratingly plucky-- ]
Not looking to mess with your rhythm or anything, but when you've got a minute to spare, I wanna show you something cool. Won't take long!
no subject
Is it something you can show me here? Probably have to redo some of this if I tie it off now.
[He's willing to stand here keeping the cord taut if she is.]

Hmm. Why don't you tell me?

So there she is at the dining room sitting around with the film camera and examining it all over. She also has the roll of twine, yup. What a trinket this is, how does this work. It's useless without genuine film, but hey, she got something]
This is so old. It's like I have a piece of modern history here in my hands.
[She hasn't seen one of these in so long! Since childhood]

[Speaking of history, here's everyone's favorite pseudo-medieval thief.]

[He shows the lens]
It's for photos!

[Does he have to ask. Out loud. After a whole week.]

[That has got to be a somewhat roundabout description, but hey, perhaps it works?]

Oh, wow... That's a really old camera, isn't it?

[Twine isn't exclusive to the seventies, Shelley]
no subject
The seventies? That's about... forty, fifty years too early for me.

[Judging by how some people aren't familiar with washing machines]

But, enough's enough. Della's got a fistful of coins and a dream! ...To maybe get something she can use to bust out of here.
The results? Interesting. Very interesting. Remarkably interesting. At the vending machine Della just...lines her two spears against the wall (they're so big for her), and pockets her gold tooth, and stares in confusion at the pile of sand, and pops in coin after coin, until she's got no more left.
The problem with all this, of course, is...there is just so much stuff. ]
...Aw, phooey. Should've asked for a bag.
[ So, she's going to spend some time carting these things back to...well, her room. Sure, most of them seem kind of useless, but she can certainly find use for some of them. Okay, probably not the waterfall poster, but they can't all be winners, can they?
After all that...well, they all need a little levity, don't they? So, Della's taking over the TV. ]
Goodbye, smooth jazz, hello tunes!
[ Cue a choreographed dance routine. It's...a little shaky, in some areas? Mostly around when she needs to do something fancy with her prosthetic leg. But it's honestly very good.
After the dancing gets old she collapses into a chair and just listens to the rest of the album, which includes some other jams. There's more than just two songs but please just...imagine your own, they've all got deliciously 90's names like "Go 4 U" and "Breakdown!" and "B4 Tomorrow" or the like. Please have fun with it.
Della's singing under her breath and just...flipping through a guidebook, looking all soft and nostalgic and all that. ]

[ The 90's are a bit before Ema's time, but she did have an older sister, and all of the hand-me-downs that come with that privilege. So even though it's been quite some time since she's heard a song with a title like "Gotta B With Me," it's certainly sending her. She's happened to catch the tail end of the album, but that doesn't mean it throws her for any less of a loop. ]
They really don't make music that sounds like this anymore, do they?
no subject
They certainly don't. A little Powerline's just what the doctor ordered to take the edge off.
no subject
[ She flashes a smile right back, and parks herself across from her. Might as well get comfy and listen to the rest, right? ]
Are you reading anything good there to go along with it? All of the stuff I've found here is pretty dry...
no subject
[ She holds it up, the Junior Woodchuck Guidebook. ]
This is mine. From when I was a kid.

vending machine
[Sly's moderately interested in checking out the machine now, seeing as people just keep getting things from it. He's intrigued by the spears and the glimpse of gold before it was pocketed, but the sand...]
Hard to believe all that's fitting inside there.
no subject
[ Just gonna say that with a straight face, Della? Alright... ]
no subject
[Because, on the other hand...]
Although... being cursed would probably explain all the sand that's now getting into everything.
