WEEK 3
You wake up on Sunday. This is unusual in large part because, whether or not you did go to sleep, when last you checked? It was Friday. Saturday is missing.
And that's not all, either. Should you check your devices, there's a calendar next to the clock. The date?
December 31st.
The dead are still gone. Your material gains are still here. Every object you've moved on the ship has returned to the position it was in when you first awoke.
Once you've recovered from the shock of that, though, not all is the same as it was when you first awoke! The lock on the door leading down to the next level of the ship has been removed, allowing you free access to a whole new assortment of on-board amenities. Go play some laser tag while you try not to think about what all of this might mean!
And by the end of the week, well... maybe another tragic accident will occur, maybe it won't. No choice but to find out.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to week 3! Remember to turn in your AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

[ Yeah... She’s going to need to take a moment, to continue stomping on that phone, before registering that someone else, Freyja, is there, and with barely restrained rage, snaps: ]
What?!
no subject
...I just wanted to check on you. That's all.
no subject
[ The phone, for the record, is absolutely broken, screen poking into its innards, wires poking out. ]
no subject
[This sort of anger is new, though perhaps the bitterness isn't.]
Come talk to me.
no subject
That fucker! That...that shit-eating monster, thinks— probably thinks it's so funny, fucking taunting me!!
[ She kicks the shattered remains of the phone, as her voice cracks. ]
Shit— [ She hastily covers her eyes, wiping at them roughly. ] I am not...wasting more time on that...heartless flake...!
no subject
The Captain is trying to get to you - no one else here is trying to taunt you or wants to hurt you. I promise.
no subject
Well it's fucking working!
[ There's something much more...raw about her than the last few weeks. Something... ]
...He's fucking with me. He's trying to- to make me think...
[ Whatever it is, it seems too painful for her to say. ]
no subject
[She'll pull away if Chloe gives her an indication that she wants her to; for the time being she remains where she is.
She understands that sort of sound, what causes it. She doesn't like it.]
Take your time. As much time as you need.
no subject
That she came back for me. [ There's a sound, wet and pained. ] That someone actually fucking cared.
[ Chloe takes a deep breath and grits her teeth, turning away to look at the ocean. ]
Max Caulfield would never save my life.
no subject
[It takes her a moment, hold on.]
Your...friend, the one that helped you...find Rachel?
[It's awkward. It's awkward and stupid and it's talking in euphemisms and they both know it but Freyja isn't sure what else to say, how else to word it. Because that's how Chloe always worded it.]
no subject
You're joking. No, someone helped me...but it was sure as hell not her. [ She's still looking out at the sea. Refusing to turn back. ] Max left me, five years ago, and hasn't so much as sent a fucking postcard.
no subject
[It isn't harsh, but there's a firmness to it.]
I would like to know what you told me that I misunderstood. Because you would have had to tell me, correct?
no subject
[ Her shoulders shake. She remembers talking about it. But. ]
I just. I don't...remember who, but- but she never... She'd never come back to Arcadia Bay.
no subject
Do you believe I would lie to you, Chloe? Let's just...verify that, first of all.
Maybe I'm mistaken about what you told me. That's possible. But do you believe I would intentionally lie?
no subject
no subject
[It's still calm, still even, despite the fact that there's something...about that that isn't sitting well with her. She pushes it aside; something to deal with on her own time.]
no subject
[ She hesitates. She starts to turn her head a little, before thinking better of it. ]
I turned you down. Of course you'd want to get back at me. [ ... ] Ha, why'd I turn you down...? I don't even... What do I have, that's so great to remember? No one... Everyone just let me down.
no subject
Your memories may not be gone forever, if you come with me.
[She says it gently, but straightforwardly.]
I cannot guarantee that you will remember everything. But I can try to help you remember. Your mother. Rachel. You don't have to forget them forever.
If it isn't what you want, then so be it. Even still, you will not cease being important to me simply because it's convenient. This isn't something I offer lightly to mortals, after all.
no subject
[ Chloe doesn't want anyone to see her starting to cry...especially not over Max. But she doesn't draw away. ]
I don't... I don't care, if I'd ever remember. [ She doesn't know why she said she would. She can't remember. ] I'd— ...I'm sorry, I'm...I'm sorry, I would...rather forget it all. They- none of them... All the pain wasn't worth it.
[ It's a stark turnaround from what she'd said a few days ago, but...it seems she believes it. ]
no subject
[She glances over Looks away fairly quickly.]
...We can go back to the room anytime you like, if that's what you want.
no subject
Sure. I'll— I just wanna...chillax, for a bit.
[ She has to sound like the angriest person to ever say chillax, but... ]
