WEEK 3

You wake up on Sunday. This is unusual in large part because, whether or not you did go to sleep, when last you checked? It was Friday. Saturday is missing.

And that's not all, either. Should you check your devices, there's a calendar next to the clock. The date?

December 31st.

The dead are still gone. Your material gains are still here. Every object you've moved on the ship has returned to the position it was in when you first awoke.

Once you've recovered from the shock of that, though, not all is the same as it was when you first awoke! The lock on the door leading down to the next level of the ship has been removed, allowing you free access to a whole new assortment of on-board amenities. Go play some laser tag while you try not to think about what all of this might mean!

And by the end of the week, well... maybe another tragic accident will occur, maybe it won't. No choice but to find out.

He stops by for a listen, and the longer she goes on, the more recognition creeps its way onto his face.]

I have. It's delightful, in its own way; I've never heard anything quite like it.

Oh, absolutely likewise! I've seen so many fascinating new instruments and heard exciting new sounds!

Wouldn't it be so fun to be able to utilize them for ourselves?

It would, though I admit that I wouldn't even know where to start.

[She seems pleased by the notion, though.]

I like to go into that room late at night just to listen. It's almost always something new, that I haven't heard before. It's exciting, in a way.

It's a wonderful glimpse into this world, isn't it? Earth really does seem like a great place... It's a shame we're stuck out on the ocean and can't experience more of it firsthand.

It really does seem nice. I wouldn't even mind being out here so much if I could still see the world's dreams at night - perhaps that would be a way to see more of it, even if I couldn't directly experience it. I would be able to tell the rest of you about it, at least.

I still miss being able to do that; it's strange, with everything being so quiet at night. The music helps.

Oh! You get to observe dreams as well? Plumeria has told me a bit about that.

Is there a specific type of dream that you oversee?
