WEEK 3

You wake up on Sunday. This is unusual in large part because, whether or not you did go to sleep, when last you checked? It was Friday. Saturday is missing.

And that's not all, either. Should you check your devices, there's a calendar next to the clock. The date?

December 31st.

The dead are still gone. Your material gains are still here. Every object you've moved on the ship has returned to the position it was in when you first awoke.

Once you've recovered from the shock of that, though, not all is the same as it was when you first awoke! The lock on the door leading down to the next level of the ship has been removed, allowing you free access to a whole new assortment of on-board amenities. Go play some laser tag while you try not to think about what all of this might mean!

And by the end of the week, well... maybe another tragic accident will occur, maybe it won't. No choice but to find out.

[As expected Yeager defeated Filbo by quite the good amount. Oh well! At least he played and did what he could, and that's all that could be asked for him. Still, if laser tag turns out to be a golden end requirement we'll have to settle for the neutral-good ending instead, haha]

I-I think so? Let me just...

[Filbo lets himself fall, miscalculating and just...falling heavily onto the floor. Paf! Just...give him a moment to roll around and try to get some rest before standing up]

I'm fine, I'm fine! So...how badly was I beaten? At least I scored four or five points, right?

[You seem fine, at least!! Anyway uhh... Well. Yeager definitely won, he's at least doubled Filbo's score...]

It was! I have never been good at hunting, so if I managed to get at least one point then I think that's a new personal record. Not that I had ever used a gun, anyway!

Guns take some getting used to! They're still quite rare where I'm from; you did great for your first time using one!

[Even though laser tag guns are very different from real ones. It's the experience that matters!! And at that, Yeager laughs again.]

I do enjoy fighting, and this game certainly makes good use of my skills! One of my preferred weapons is a gun as well, so I think I'm fairly well-suited to playing this game!

If anyone defeats you then make sure to tell me! Because I really have to wonder what kinda person will manage to do that.

[He isn't sure what would be better: that a name he doesn't expect pops up, or that someone who conceivably would be as good a fighter as Yeager is the one to defeat him]
