WEEK 4

Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday.

Two murders have passed, now, it is once again December 31st, and life on this cruise ship goes ever onwards.

There are two new areas that you have access to now: a new floor as usual, but also a new section of the topdeck with some... unique amenities.

Who could kill while there's a roller coaster now available, huh? Honestly!

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[ ooc: Welcome to week 4, everyone! Remember to turn in AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

No, it's...

[Hmm. How to translate.]

The third soul?

All people are born with a Henki. This is the soul that joins with your body before birth. It's like your life force, it's what keeps you alive. If you lose your Henki, you die.

The second soul is the Itse. This is the soul that makes you 'you'. Most of the time it stays with your body, but it can leave sometimes. If people talk about an 'out of body experience', it's usually that their Itse left for a bit. You get your Itse right after you're born.

Then there's the Luonto, the third soul. This is someone's 'strength' or 'power'. It protects someone from outside influences and keeps the body from becoming too weak. For mages like me, it's where we draw our magical power from. This one can leave the body, and often does after injury or particularly strenuous work. You get this when you first start teething, which is why babies are particularly vulnerable.

If the Captain has Jones' Luonto, he could be forcing Jones to use his magic in a certain way.

Sounds plausible to me.

How would the Captain be able to contain it, do you think?

Magic could do it. If the Captain has strong enough magic to lock it away, Jones can't do anything about it.

He is powerful enough that does sound like something he could do.

[Damn.]

But if we can free Jones' Luonto, he would be free of the Captain. It would go right back to Jones all by itself.

I think it's worth looking for.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, as the saying goes.

...think he will take us home?
sivard: (☁ you're not there)

He might.

Though I doubt he could say anything about that to us right now.

Mhmm. We help him first, then maybe he can help us.

Thanks what I'm thinking.

It's worth a shot.
