THIRD INVESTIGATION

It's Friday again. The same Friday, if the calendar is to be believed, that has already brought you so much trouble twice now. Well at least the once, but... you know. Time is already so weird out here.

As you all wake up, there at least aren't any bodies directly outside your doors? But it's still a deadline day for a motive, and, well... even three weeks in, you might have a sense what that means.

But hey, maybe third time's the charm...?

[ Well, first off, the body definitely didn't have a fun time when that chandelier fell. Broken bones, cuts... it's in bad shape. ]

Is there any information to be garnered from the body's apparent positioning?]

[ Positioning not so much? But it is notable that many of the cuts from the glass don't seem to have bled much at all, despite all the blood on the ground. Might be worth looking into. ]

[Ah, yes, that's significant! It's probably time to start lifting some debris away to start looking for non-chandelier-related injuries!]

[ It doesn't take long to find the pretty significant stab wound on the back of his neck. That one definitely bled. ]

[This is, somehow, even more extra than just killing a guy with a chandelier would've been.

What can Data glean from inspecting the wound? Size of the weapon, angle of attack, that kind of deal?]

[ It's pretty deep, hit straight on, and, given the tearing on one side, a vending machine knife or other similar serrated blade is the most likely culprit. ]

Sounds like this was very much an ambush, but Data will check for any other knife injuries nonetheless.]

[ No other knife injuries, but there's definitely a few bruises on his upper arm. ]

[ Mmmmaybe they're from grabbing with a hand? But if they are, it's too rough and overlapped to get a gauge of hand size or anything like that. ]
